The Ghana Smart School Project aims to improve SHS education by giving all senior high and TVET schools in the nation access to electronic devices, digital learning content, and teaching and learning management systems.
As part of the government's initiative to support e-learning and digitalization, President Nana Akufo-Addo is anticipated to officially start the project on Monday, March 25, 2024.
The pre-tertiary education digitalization policy of the Ministry of Education is in line with this objective. It supports the government's objective of utilising technology breakthroughs to equip Ghanaian students for the upcoming fourth industrial revolution.

They emphasised that embracing the bill into law could result in severe delays in the disbursement of the US$300 million financing from the First Ghana Resilient Recovery Development Policy Operation. They notably raised concerns about this money.
