Next month, in July 2024, my team will be in Kapioto, a small community in the Savanna Region's Salaga area, to shoot a documentary.
We intend to register our presence in the community with a series of projects.

Kapioto, located in the East Gonja Municipality, has a population of 565, including 176 students. These students attend school in the nearby community of Gurishe Zongo, which has a student population of 538.

Among the many challenges this community faces, which we will solve in the coming months, one significant issue is the lack of textbooks for teachers and students. We aim to address this by providing textbooks and exercise books to enhance their teaching and learning experience.

To supply each student with 2 exercise books, we need a total of 1076 books 📚.

Here's the breakdown:

- Each pack of exercise books contains 20 books.
- One pack costs GHS 65.
- We need 54 packs in total.
- A half pack, containing 10 books, costs GHS 35.

SOLITUDE

👍 often misunderstood as loneliness, is a moment of silence in our immediate environment to facilitate the rearrangement of the noise in our heads. It's not merely the absence of company but a shrine for self-discovery and contemplation. In solitude, one finds solace, a sacred space to untie the complexities of existence.
