Transnet National Ports Authority Renewable Energy Specialist, Amanda Makgoga (MBA, PR Tech Eng) will be participating at the 4th Annual Hydrogen Economy Discussion under the theme: Global developments, Implications, and Opportunities.

The discussion will look at overcoming the challenges of developing robust infrastructure for hydrogen production, transportation, and storage by identifying the different elements of the hydrogen value chain. It will assess the extent to which the current renewable energy infrastructure needs to be scaled up to produce green hydrogen. It will also explore technologies that can be used to transport hydrogen, highlighting their benefits and risks relative to on-site hydrogen generation.

The close of the TNPA Hydrogen RFI, with a positive market response, presents an opportunity for TPA to engage with other industry role players through deliberations on green hydrogen opportunities and positioning South Africa as the project developer's investment destination of choice.

Look out for updates on our social media pages.
