Our students matter and so does their experience. Creating avenues for dialogue, feedback and collaboration remains essential to building a responsive and student-centred University environment.

It is against this backdrop that the University is convening the UG Student Experience Conference, a platform expected to strengthen meaningful engagement between students and University Management on issues relating to academic life, student wellbeing, support services and the overall student experience.

The Conference will provide students with the opportunity to share perspectives, contribute ideas and participate in conversations aimed at enhancing the University experience for all.

It is announced for the information of the general public that the University of Ghana has released the undergraduate admissions list for the 2025/2026 academic year.

All applicants are encouraged to check their admission status via the University’s admission portal: https://apply.ug.edu.gh/admissions/admissionstatus

Applicants who require assistance may visit the Academic Affairs Directorate Admission Desk located at the UG Stadium for support.

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

The Academic Affairs Directorate wishes to inform the public that, as part of efforts to support applicants and newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic year, an Admissions Assistance Desk has been set up at the University of Ghana Stadium.

The Desk will operate from Tuesday, December 9 to Tuesday, December 23, 2025, to provide guidance on admissions processes, enquiries and related support services.

Working Days / Hours:

Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

All applicants, prospective students and newly admitted students are encouraged to visit the Admissions Assistance Desk for the needed support.

Student designers who recently participated in the 2024 Wear UG Day fashion design competition, have been congratulated by Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo.

Prof. Amfo expressed her admiration for the innovative work of the designers, which she closely followed virtually due to official travel, during the competition.

She was particularly intrigued by their ability to balance academic pursuits with their entrepreneurial endeavours. She encouraged them to be visible and think differently in creating businesses that can become the next big international fashion brands.

The student designers conveyed their gratitude for the opportunity to showcase their talents on the Wear UG Day stage. They emphasised the invaluable experience and exposure gained through the event.

The meeting, held at the instance of the Vice-Chancellor provided a platform for her to personally connect with the budding entrepreneurs and discuss their creative journeys. The University is looking into ways of supporting them with business development skills needed to boost their entrepreneurial ventures.
