Shatta Wale ordered to pay $120k + $10k interest plus GHC20k damages to Wildaland Festival organizers
Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has been ordered by a court to pay $120,000 plus $10,000 interest and
GHC20,000 in damages to the organizers of the Wildaland Festival.
Wale was booked to perform at the festival in 2021 but failed to show up despite receiving the full $120,000
payment. The festival organizers sued Wale, and the court has now ordered him to repay the money with interest and damages.
