Too often, the women and small-scale producers who feed millions across Africa remain invisible in formal markets. They operate informally, without the capital, exposure, or media tools needed to grow—and yet, they carry entire food systems on their backs.

It’s not a lack of talent or dedication. It’s a lack of access.

At EATO, we’re building a food network that works differently.

We connect the full spectrum of African food players—from penny farmers to market queens—to global demand through media, community, and the tech infrastructure needed to scale African food and culture on our terms.

Now, we’re inviting you to be part of the movement.
Pre-order our debut cookbook EATO Presents: Flavours of Africa—a celebration of recipes, food stories, and the people behind Africa’s kitchens and farms.

The link to pre-order can be found in our bio!

Your support helps us invest directly in the communities that power African food.

Turning Challenges into Triumphs: The Journey of EATO’s First Hardcopy Cookbook

2024 tested us in ways we never expected. We had multiple near-wins with investors who were ready to support us—only for their funds not to close, leaving us without the working capital needed to bring our vision to life. But instead of waiting, we took action.

That’s why we launched EATO Presents: Flavours of Africa Cookbook—a fundraising initiative to introduce our community to African cuisine while helping us launch our MVP.

Now, we’re excited to announce that we are on track to ship in April 2025! Our goal for this year? Sell enough copies, so we can reinvest in our growth, and bring African food culture to the world in a way that’s never been done before.

As a Black female-founded business, we know the odds are against us when it comes to fundraising. But we also know the impact we will make on our community—from SMEs seeking international exposure to global foodies looking for better-quality African food and drink products.

If you want to be part of our story, consider pre-ordering your copy today for £29.99. Every purchase at EATO directly supports African food SMEs and helps us build a stronger ecosystem for African cuisine worldwide. Link in bio to pre-order!
