GHANA POLICE INVITES KWAME A-PLUS OVER AHMED SUALE'S MURDER.

Ghana Police Service has invited Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A-Plus, to assist in the investigation of Ahmed Suale's assassination.
Following an emphatic claim on a Facebook live session on Saturday 14th July 2024, the controversial Politician said in no uncertain terms to know those involved in the assassination of an investigative journalists Ahmed Suale.

Ahmed Hussein-Suale was a Ghanaian undercover investigative journalist with Tiger-eye P.I and associate of Ghanaian investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw who was murdered on Wednesday, 16 January 2019 by unidentified men on motorbikes near his family home in Madina. Shot him three times, twice in the chest and once in his neck.

A plus who publicly announced to context the Gomoa Central parliamentary seat as an independent candidate in 2024 general elections, seems not very happy with some individuals who, he (A plus ) claims to be members and sympathisers of the ruling Party, New Patriotic Party (NPP) and took to Facebook live, calling them out.

NATIONAL COUNCIL UNANIMOUSLY APPROVALS DR. MATTHEW OPOKU PREMPEH .

Today 4th July 2024, the National council of the New Patriotic Party, Unanimously approved the nomination of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate by the New Patriotic Party (NPP)
The National Council of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by the General secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua has announced in a press conference the approved Dr. Prempeh as the running mate of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2024 presidential elections

Dr. Prempeh was born on May 23, 1968, in Ashanti New Town, a suburb of Kumasi, and hails from Pakyi No. 2 in the Ashanti Region. Dr Matthew Opoku l attended Prempeh College and also an alumni of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology all based in Kumasi.

The 56 years old Medical doctor represents the good people of Manhyia South in Kumasi in the Parliament of Ghana and currently serving as the Minister for Energy. He also served as the minister for Education from 2017 - 2021.
Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh is also serving on the Defense and Interior Committee, and Appointments Committee the house of Parliament of Ghana.

NDC CRIES FOUL OVER THE APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES TO THE APEX COURT.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), in a press conference today in Accra, has expressed concerns about the appointment of some five (5) Judges to the apex Court of Ghana.

A press conference led by the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, describes the the request by the chief Justice Her Leadership , Gertrude Araba Torkornoo to the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to nominate some five (5) Judges to the Apex Court as unconstitutional.
During the press conference, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) also accused the current government of Packing the judiciary with judges sympathetic to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) which the NDC believes is an attempt to avoid accountability and cover governments wrong doing.

Last night on United Showbiz, a UTv produced Entertainment show, popular actor kwown in the Kumasi sector of the Ghanaian Film industry (Kumawood) as Big Akwes, made a wild allegation, claiming to know some Ghanaian musicians who are into internet fraud, and are using their wives as the faces of the illegal business.

The controversial actor made this allegation when the topic of Hajia4Real came up for discussion on the show.
HAJIA4REAL whose real name is Mona Faiz Montrage, was extradited from the United Kingdom to the United States in May 2023, and has been charged and convicted for her involvement in a romance scam in the United States .

Big Akwes, ready to mention to names but was stopped by the host of the show MzGee.

A COUNTRY CALLED GHANA MOVIE BAGS NORMINATION IN NOLLYWOOD FILM FESTIVAL IN GERMANY.

A Ghanaian Film produced by Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lil Win, has been nominated for the 2024 Nollywood Film Festival in Germany.

Kumasi sector of the Ghana movie industry witnessed a feature from Nigerian actors, Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, and Victor Osuagwu .

The Nollywood Festival/NEGA Awards Germany is an annual event that showcases Nollywood films to a German audience and promotes international trade and exchange opportunities
This event will take place at GOETHE University in Frankfurt, Germany, on August 3, 2024

I WILL DISRUPT ANY SET ANGEL IS EMPLOYED - OKANAYO O. OKANAYO

Veteran Nigerian Actor, Producer and private legal practitioner Kanayo O. Kanayo is seen in a viral video on social media, calling for the boycott of Eighteen (18) years old actress Angel Unigwe over an alleged breach of contract.

Kanayo accused Angel Unigwe of abandoning a working contract with his ongoing production after her mother picked her from the set before the contract's agreed expiration.
According to OKANAYO in the video, several Nollywood producers have complained to him about the mother of the eighteen (18) year old actress, of breaching contract after she has been paid for the services of her daughter.

" Many producers have complained to me about this behaviour of Madam Unigwe but I did not know it will happen to me" he said.

He urged Nollywood producers to boycott the young actress, and also threatening to disrupt any shoot involving her .

"We have suffered to build this industry and I can not sit watch someone destroy it . This nonsense must be stopped" he add.

Funny Face, a Ghanaian comedian , called on, TELECEL GHANA in a social media post, seeking to working with them as brand ambassador.

"Dear Telecel Ghana, pls I want on board as a brand Ambassador" he said .

F***y Face who was once, a brand Ambassador for VODAFONE GHANA now, TELECEL GHANA, wish to reignite an old relationship with the telecommunication giant.

Weeks ago in an interview on KOFI TV, the comedian called on MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo, expressing his willingness to work with them.

It's obvious the comedian is determined to push for a "come back" after going through both personal and career challenges.

PROVIDE RESEARCH DATA - GEORGE QUAYE EXPRESSES DISAPPOINTMENT OVER SUPREME COURT'S RULING .

The CEO of Image Bureau and media personality George Quaye, seems not very happy with the Supreme Court of Ghana after it's decision to uphold the Food and Drug Authority's (FDA) ban on celebrities endorsing alcoholic beverages .

The Supreme Court dismissed the suit filed by MARK DARLINGTON OSAE, challenging the Food and Drug Authority's (FDA) to ban celebrities in Ghana from endorsing alcoholic beverages. However this decision doesn't happen to sit well with some industry players .
In an interview with Neat Fm this morning, George Quaye, registered his disagreement with the 5-2 majority decision by the supreme Court.

He emphasized that the court's ruling could deprive celebrities of a chance to earn income for their sustenance. He also argued that the notion that celebrity endorsements of alcoholic beverages corrupt youth morality lacks solidity.
He urged the FDA to collaborate with celebrities to determine a method of promoting alcoholic beverages that doesn't harm children.
