✍🏾"Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ,"~ (Ephesians 3:8)
Happy New Month family, we thank the good Lord for His grace and mercies that has seen us into the month of June 2026. This is our month of Walking in Divine Grace. Looking at our introductory scripture,
Apostle Paul weaves together humility, divine grace, and missionary purpose.
his self-identification as “less than the least” reveals a deeply cultivated humility grounded in his past. Paul’s awareness of having once persecuted the Church shaped his enduring sense of unworthiness. Yet this humility is not self-condemnation; rather, it magnifies the transforming power of grace.
Paul attributes his Apostleship entirely to God’s undeserved favour rather than personal merit. Thus, Paul embodies a vital truth: effective ministry does not arise from human qualification but from divine calling.
In the Greco-Roman context, authority and public proclamation were often tied to social status and privilege. Yet Paul, once a privileged Pharisee, is now sent to the Gentiles those outside the covenant community demonstrating that God’s mission breaks through ethnic, cultural, and social barriers. Grace, therefore, is both a gift received and a task entrusted.
As we reflect on this scripture at the dawn of a new month, several implications emerge. First, we are called to walk in humility, recognizing that our abilities and opportunities are products of God’s grace. Second, we must embrace our God-given assignments, understanding that grace is not passive but missional. Every role that you are playing towards the progress of God's kingdom, be encouraged to intensify it.
Third, we are invited to proclaim, in word and deed, the boundless riches of Christ in our various endeavors. Finally, we are encouraged to trust fully in God’s abundant provision, confident that His Grace is sufficient for us.
Therefore, in this month of June, I pray that you will be inspired to live with renewed humility, clearer purpose, and deeper confidence in the inexhaustible riches of Christ, knowing that the same God who used Paul so greatly in missionary work is still at work today, calling and empowering us for His glory. May you manifest the Grace and Glory of God this month at everywhere you step. Amen.
The love is deep Precious one.❤️~ (P/Ovr. Michael Asante )
