Laziness

This can be said to be the quality of being unwilling to work or use energy.
The inability to work or exact energy to get work done in other words it is a state of idleness.

The morals lesson here today is that we should try to pull ourselves out of the state of being lazy and equip ourselves useful energy always to get work done.
As it is often said that an idle mind is the devil's workshop, this simply means the devil puts you to work.
God always want his people to be active and work to be prosperous.
Let us look at how God frowns at laziness.

Genesis 4

Where Cain and Abel were put to test Abel's sacrifice was approved by God because he Abel went out to hunt fresh animal while Cain out of laziness provided farm produce he gathered from the house I guess they were not even fresh. God rejected his and approved that of Abel, this made Cain so angry and he killed his brother out of jealousy.

Remember I told you the idle mind is the devil's workshop.

Let us be guided by the holy Spirit at all time and get up and work for our future so we will not be jealous of our brothers who put in the best in what they do to make wealth and better their families.

Genesis 4:6-7

Listen to what God said to Abel when he rejected his sacrifice Gen:4-7 if you do well,will you not be accepted?
And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door,and it's desires is for you to consume you.

BUT YOU SHOULD RULE OVER IT.

Yes we have been given the power by God to rule over sin so as the scriptures say you have the power to rule over sin,get engaged in something put in that extra effort, don't be like Cain who was consumed by anger and was caused by God.
Laziness can take you backward in life as you will have a lot of free time to think evil and perpetuate evil.

You might find yourself exhibiting some of these traits, but that doesn’t mean that life as you know it is over. sometimes it is an indication of an underlying fear.

Maybe you are afraid of crowds, so you spend your whole day on your couch binge-watching tv shows. Or you are afraid of failing so you never pitch the many ideas that are coursing through your brain.

Or you are afraid that you won’t lose weight try as you might so you keep making excuses for why you haven’t yet started working out like you said you would.

that fear can be mistranslated by the people around you for extreme laziness.

Make a pact with yourself, that despite the outcome you are going to choose to do that thing that you have been meaning to do.

Don’t make a mountain out of a molehill, just do it.

Prayer

Lord Jesus I come into your presence asking that every spirit of laziness growing in me be removed and replaced with the spirit of hard work and dedication to pushing to make a better person out of my life and to project me as the piler of strength in my family, business, occupation and church.
I want to be dedicated to serving the God of the heavens and the earth with all of my heart and soul,Lord Jesus keep me far away from laziness and show me your light Amen.

Welcome beautiful people of God.
Today we will be looking at Backwardness and how dangerous it's effect can be to believers, Country, staffs in an establishment, and a family unit as a whole.

Always make a cautious effort to pray against the spirit of Backwardness in your life, they is a reason for this I tell you.

1) It can make the whole family into a laughing stuck as your family will be tagged a bunch of backward people.

2) It can make a whole county remain cut off from the rest of the world and in comes hunger of it's citizens.

3) It keeps you operating in stagnation, in other words they will be no physical grow recorded in your life.

Let's look at the meaning of the word Backwardness!!!

Backwardness is said to be the state of not being advanced, or of not using Morden methods hence not progressing.

Let's look at some instances in he bible where God intentionally moved His people out of the state of Backwardness.

Deuteronomy 1-6

Here the children of Israel were staying comfortably in one part of the wilderness a mountain sport and the dwell there too long, if you look at their reasons it was the lack of visions,focus,laziness, ignorance, unwillingness and reluctance that kept them there.
God spoke to them and reminded them of his promise to their fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that He was given them the land promised.

God detests Backwardness and rewards progressiveness, yes you heard me right, God is a progressive God and rewards positivity.

Backwardness is a demonic spirit that has placed people in their formal place, school and village in their dreams. The spirit of backwardness cannot allow people to progress. It restricts the children of God from so many things in life. For example, dreaming about the village, formal house, former school is a sign of backwardness, retrogression and stagnation. A man who is expecting a contract job from a person, but by the time he finished dreaming about former areas where he has lived before, that contract would not come to pass.

Always pray for God to remove any spirit of Backwardness and fill you with positivity in all of your dealings and see the glory of God working in your life.

Prayer

Heavenly Father thank you for this revelation today about the dangers of operating in Backwardness, Lord keep me away from any form of Backwardness in my family,business, occupation,and above all in my relationship
with you.
Today I fill my life with the positive spirit of God and I receive the grace to move to my promise land in Jesus mighty name AMEN.

BETRAYAL

Wow this word cuts deep both side depending on the side you are on hahaha.

This is why I will like us to look at betrayal today holistically as it affects humans in general.

Betrayal.You’ve probably experienced it. You might have caused it. It’s the cruelest of vices as it stabs the back only after inviting the embrace.

Its victims didn’t see it coming, and that’s why its pain cuts deepest and lasts longest.

It’s the affair that wrecks a trusting spouse.

It’s the vertigo that sets in when a decades-long friendship implodes in a minutes-long conversation.

It’s when hopeful, happy people grow hard, invisible shells.

Yes we all have experienced some kind of betrayal either at our work place, School, church. All leave a very disturbing and unsettled feeling.
Let us look at some examples of betrayal in the Bible so we can get a full understand of betrayal and how to deal with it a one who trust God and believe in His son our personal Lord Jesus Christ.

Here are some stories of betrayal in the Bible, and each one teaches us something about the nature of betrayal.

1. Satan betrays Eve

(Gen. 3)

The serpent won Eve’s trust with innocent curiosity (“Did God really say?”) and confidential advice (“You will be like God, knowing good and evil”). Bypassing the husband, the deceiver took her aside and offered her secret knowledge and unending reward.

They realized they've been betrayed when “godlikeness” turned out to feel a lot like shame, blame, fear, and alienation.

Before unmasking itself, betrayal will puff you up on what you want to hear. Sounds familiar?
God placed in you the ability to know good from evil from this act and embed it in our heart, He also made provisions for forgiveness of sin.

2 Saul betrays David

(1 Sam. 18-26)

King Saul was at one time a father figure to the young warrior David. David married his daughter and was as loyal and competent a soldier as Saul could have asked for. Yet, at David’s successes on the battlefield, Saul became jealous and sensed a threat to his reign. Saul’s bout with evil spirits necessitated a calming force, and David, as a musician, was often called in to play the harp for Saul. Three times, Saul took advantage of the situation and tried to spear David to the wall. After David escaped and went on the run, Saul sent soldiers and then eventually took an army to pursue and kill David. When David and his own soldiers had the opportunity to kill Saul (by secretly cutting off a corner of his robe when he could have knifed him), David used it as an opportunity to prove his loyalty. When Saul realized David had spared his life even when being hunted, Saul expressed how sorry he was and how much he had misjudged David. And yet, a couple chapters later, Saul was back with his army, pursuing David again. Thankfully, none of these betrayals led to David’s death or capture. But they all show us that words of sincere regret aren’t proof that we’re out of the woods. As long as envy persists, so does the potential for betrayal.

Always pray for true repentance as when this spirit of betrayal comes upon you the presences of the holy spirit will prevail again it through your constant affiliation with Jesus Christ the king of peace and love.

3. Judas betrays Jesus

(Luke 22:47-48)

Judas Iscariot’s name became so synonymous with betrayal that he is hardly mentioned in the Gospels without a phrase such as “who betrayed him” or “who became a traitor.” We aren’t sure exactly what motivated him to betray Jesus, except we do know he struggled with greed, and he agreed to betray Jesus to the authorities that wanted Jesus dead for a price—thirty pieces of silver.

He arranged to lead them to Jesus and give them a signal.

He would let them know which one was Jesus by greeting him with a kiss.

Thus, “Judas’s kiss” has become the quintessential metaphor for betrayal.

Jesus’ question in reply says it all: “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”
(Luke 22:48).

Betrayal in the Bible: “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”

Jesus full of compassion forgave Judas and this singular act shows us how to act as lover of God our heavenly Father wants of us.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus thank you for exposing me with knowledge to deal with betrayal father forgive those who have planed to causes me pain and fill me with the spirit to always prevail over my enemies. Remove fro my path any evil sprite of betrayal that will want to keep me away from God and protect my mind and sanity in Jesus mighty name we pray AMEN.

Love Love Love !!!!!!.

Love is wonderful.
Love is beautiful.
Love is patient.
Love is kind.
Love is accomdating.

Let's look at the definition of Love;

Love can be difined as the intense feeling of deep affection.

Wow intense feeling of deep affection, we all remember vivid moments we felt an intense feeling about something like a memorable event, be it academic achievement,new political appointment, marriage solomonization.

For me it was all of the above mentioned but above all was the day my kids, children were delivered in fact my joy had no limit when I finally realized mother and child were going great and I was leaving the hospital a new father, that day I expirense what deep affection ment.

At that moment you have a feeling of how God feels about you as God loves every single human, and his intensed and deep affection which is love is shown in the spendor in the new arrival your happiness as new parents.
God so love the world he created that he gave his son Jesus Christ to die for our sin to give us the opportunity to see his level of joy.

Love can also be seen as great interest and pleasure in something,

Genesis 1:32a

God saw everything that he had made and indeed it was very good.

God was pleased with what he created that is he loved it.

Remember we said when you achieve a mile Stone in life we are filled with excitement and we love it.

1 John 3:16,

God so love the world he created that he gave his only begotten son that who so ever believe in his shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Wow such great love from our creator shown to us mankind.

We have an obligation to love God and man.

The kind of love we show to our children that same kind of love is required from us to show to our neighbors.

Yes it's true and you can say it very difficult, and I can not but agree more.
But God has put in us the ability to do this, yes it in you to love as your creator.

God is love and everything he created has a full (aboundant) doze of love

Jeremiah 17:9

Here we see how we are supposed to love God with all our hearts and obey Him.

This scripture tells how our heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure,
but God Him self knows and also sent a solution to this, by given us a new heart let's read,

Ezekiel 18:31a

Rid yourself of all the offense you have committed and receive a new heart and a new spirit, God is good all the time.

Remember we are talking about Love.

And God is love round about.

Prayer;

Our heavenly Father, put in us a new heart to love you, also renew our spirit to be committed to your word that is above all things affectionate, and pure.
Bless our children, bless the works of our hand, favor us round about with good health and sound mind to love our neighbors as we love ourselves, Amen.
