Vice president Prof. Nana Jane Opoku-Agyemang Has return home safe and Sound.

Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has indeed returned to Ghana after receiving intensive medical treatment in the United Kingdom for a short illness. She was warmly welcomed back home by President John Dramani Mahama, First Lady Lordina Mahama, the Chief of Staff, and other senior government officials at the VIP lounge of the Kotoka International Airport.

Upon her return, Vice President Opoku-Agyemang expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Ghanaians for their prayers and well-wishes during her time abroad. She also extended her appreciation to her medical team at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) and her doctors in the UK for their exceptional care and support.

The Vice President's return marks a significant step in her recovery, and she was visibly touched by the support she received from the government and the people of Ghana. President Mahama and his brother, Ibrahim, were particularly thanked for their thoughtfulness and support during her medical treatment.

The Present has Nominate Hon. Ibrahim F. Faila as MCE for La Nkwantanang constituency.

Hon. Faila who was serving as the NDC party chairman at La Nkwantanang constituency had worked so hard and believe the appointment was endorsed by Allah.

After his nomination, leaders of his community and family gathered and offered thanksgiving prayers to Allah.
Also some of the members from the assembly in his constituency made it to his house to congratulate him and wish him good luck.

La-Nkwantnang Madina District Health Directorate Engages Stakeholders for Mosquito Net Registration and Distribution Exercise.

The La-Nkwantnang Madina district health directorate organized a stakeholders' meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, to inform and enlighten them on an upcoming exercise to register and distribute treated mosquito nets to households in the district.

The meeting, which aimed to encourage stakeholders to participate in the exercise, was attended by key personnel from the health directorate.
Dr. Selorm A Kutsoati ( Physician Specialist)
Director of La-Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Health Directorate , introduced the main purpose of the meeting, highlighting the importance of the exercise in preventing malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases.

Mr. Mac Jonas Kambe ( Malaria focal person). Public Health Officer - Health Information , provided details on the structures and measures in place for the registration process, which will take place from Wednesday, April 9, 2025, to Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Madam Vida Wewupadi Agoriwo ( Public Health Officer-Health Promotion) in the La-Nkwantnang district, emphasized the importance of every household sleeping under a treated mosquito net, citing its effectiveness in preventing malaria. She provided guidance on how to use the nets properly.

The exercise aims to promote the use of treated mosquito nets in households across the district, thereby reducing the incidence of malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases.

Stakeholders were urged to encourage their various groups and associations to participate in the exercise to ensure its success.
