Images by Tasia Akushika Queenin I am a Cultural Photographer now located in Ghana West Africa Welcome! or Akwaaba! From the Twi language in Ghana, West Africa. ceremony in Accra Ghana.

I made the move to Ghana in March of 2019 and have made it my home. THE NAME CHANGE:
The name has changed from Images by Tasia to AkuShika Queenin Photography. It means Aku is Wedneday born child.and Shika means gold, wealth, money (valuable) a name that was bestowed upon me in a Ga tribe naming. It has been a long time since this page has been active. During that down time, I took the needed time

out for myself because I felt that I was getting lost. In a world that is rapidly changing I need to find a place within myself, a place where I felt the absolute freedom to be creative and allow myself to just be. I have found that in traveling and living abroad. As the days pass you will see the changes of my photography aesthetics. I enjoy the ability to walk outside and have a World Studio full of life at my fingertips. It is my hope that as you see the photos being posted that you will enjoy them, be interactive by asking question or commenting and even sharing your travel images in this space. They are from the royal lineage documentation goes back to 1500.

They call me Edikime Tepretu “God has taken me out of it”.

It is a name that will be legal when the papers come through in 90 days. The have dealt with me kindness and blessings. I am in awe of all the negativity that I was released from or was blocked after given the name.

What is for you will always be for you…..no one can take it away. And when plans fail it is for your benefit as with me my whole world opened up to unimaginable wealth on many levels. oldest tribe in Ghana
