The leadership of the youth front of the NPP has proven to be a profound disappointment, particularly in their sudden, ostensible concern for the youth now that they're in opposition. Their actions while in government speak volumes about their true priorities, and it's clear they did little to nothing meaningful for the youth during their tenure. When in power, they failed to create jobs, provide opportunities, or empower the youth in any significant way.

Instead of serving the youth, they seemed more interested in playing politics and advancing their own careers. Their current rhetoric about championing the youth is nothing but empty words, and their track record reveals their hypocrisy. The youth are not naive; they remember the NPP's lack of meaningful action during their time in government.

In stark contrast, the NDC leadership has demonstrated a genuine commitment to prioritizing the youth and their future. They have shown a willingness to think about the betterment of the youth, and their policies reflect a deep understanding of the challenges and aspirations of young Ghanaians. From initiatives aimed at promoting education, skills development, and entrepreneurship to programs focused on employment and economic empowerment, the NDC has consistently shown a dedication to creating opportunities and supporting the youth.

The contrast between the two parties' approaches to youth empowerment is stark. While the NPP's efforts have been lacking, the NDC has taken concrete steps to address the needs of the youth. As such, it's clear which party truly has the best interests of the youth at heart. The youth deserve leaders who will genuinely prioritize their needs and work towards creating a brighter future for them. The NDC's commitment to youth empowerment is a testament to their dedication to the well-being and prosperity of Ghana's young people.

It's quite ironic to see a government that recently left office now staging demonstrations against the current administration, accusing them of abusing power. One can't help but wonder if they've forgotten that they have flag bearer race. Instead of focusing on strengthening their base, they're resorting to revealing damaging secrets about their own aspirants, which is overwhelming to us all.

Rather than introspectively analyzing their past mistakes and working towards a better future, they seem more interested in discrediting their opponents. The hypocrisy is palpable when they compare their eight years in government to the current administration's mere eight months in office. It's a grossly unfair comparison that lacks substance and credibility.

The people have spoken, and the message is clear: NPP will not be returning to power anytime soon. It's time for them to reflect on their past actions, learn from their mistakes, and work towards rebuilding their party rather than engaging in self-destructive behavior. The writing is on the wall, and it's only a matter of time before their actions catch up with them.

The galamsey scourge is a ticking time bomb, threatening to destroy the very soul of our communities! It's time for the chiefs to rise up and reclaim their lands, to protect the future of their people. The consequences of inaction will be catastrophic, leaving behind a legacy of poisoned rivers, barren lands, and a people forever scarred. Our children will inherit a desolate landscape, devoid of the rich biodiversity and fertile soils that our ancestors left for us.

We can't just sit back and expect the government to fix this alone. The chiefs and natives must take ownership of this crisis, because they're not just stakeholders - they're the guardians of the land. If they fail to act, they'll be failing their ancestors, their children, and generations yet unborn. The memories of our lush forests, teeming with life, and our rivers, flowing with crystal-clear water, will soon be nothing but a distant memory.

The clock is ticking, and the future is crying out for salvation. Will we stand idly by, watching as our lands are ravaged and our people suffer? Or will we rise up, unite, and fight for our right to a safe and healthy environment? The choice is ours, and the time to act is now! We owe it to ourselves, our children, and the future of our communities to take a stand against galamsey. We must demand action from our leaders and take concrete steps to protect our lands.

The chiefs and natives must lead the charge, using their authority and influence to stop galamsey in its tracks. Together, we can make a difference and ensure a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come. Let's rise up and reclaim our lands, our rivers, and our future. The time to act is now - we can't afford to wait!

I'd like to dispel a common misconception about our ghetto communities. Contrary to popular stereotypes, these areas are not plagued by nuisance or apathy. Instead, they're hubs of unity, love, and resilience, home to educated elites and high professionals who've chosen to stay connected to their roots.

My recent meeting with these remarkable individuals was a testament to their awareness and engagement on national issues. It's heartening to see that they're not only informed about the country's developments but also passionate about contributing to its growth. They have a deep understanding of the challenges we face and are eager to be part of the solution.

I'd like to extend my appreciation to my ghetto brothers and sisters for their warmth and insight. Their energy and commitment are a source of inspiration, and I'm honored to have had the opportunity to engage with them. Let's continue to work together to build a brighter future for our nation, leveraging our collective strengths and talents to drive progress and development.

I'm excited about the potential that lies ahead, and Together, we can create a more inclusive and prosperous society, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive. Big ups to my ghetto brothers and sisters – let's keep pushing forward!

I had the privilege of reconnecting with youth in various communities over the weekend, visiting ghettos to express my heartfelt appreciation for their overwhelming support during the 2024 campaign and elections. The enthusiasm and eagerness of the youth to learn and grow were truly inspiring, and I am committed to supporting their endeavors. We shared laughter, stories, and aspirations, making it a moment of great joy and gratitude. I emphasized the importance of education, skill acquisition, and community involvement in achieving their goals. Through engaging discussions, we explored ways to empower the youth, unlock their potential, and create opportunities for growth and development. I shared valuable information about available resources, encouraging them to seize these opportunities and build a brighter future for themselves and our nation. I am honored to have had this opportunity to connect with the youth and look forward to continuing our journey together, building a better tomorrow for ourselves and future generations. I believe that by working together, we can create a brighter future for our nation, where every individual has access to opportunities and resources to thrive.

Vincent Ekow Assafuah, an NPP MP, claimed President John Dramani Mahama used a pricey private jet, costing $690,000, for a trip to Japan and Singapore, but he has no solid proof. This feels like political drama, with social media blowing up unproven claims to make Mahama look bad. Stan Dogbe and Felix Kwakye Ofosu, from Mahama’s side, strongly denied this, saying Mahama flew on a regular Emirates flight, and they have clear records to prove it. They even pointed out Mahama was seen in Accra when Assafuah said he was on the jet, which weakens the claim. Assafuah tried to backtrack, saying maybe Mahama’s team used the jet, but he still showed no evidence. Without flight logs or receipts, his story doesn’t hold up. Mahama’s team seems more believable because they’re open about the flight details and his public appearances. Right now, this looks like a distraction to stir trouble, not a real issue. The truth matters, and the evidence supports Mahama’s side over Assafuah’s.

As a member of parliament, Afenyo-Markin is expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct and respect for the law. His actions in striking a police officer are concerning and potentially unlawful. This behavior not only reflects poorly on him as an individual but also on the institution he represents.

In a democratic society governed by the rule of law, public officials must exercise restraint and resolve conflicts peacefully. Afenyo-Markin's conduct may have breached parliamentary codes of conduct and potentially constitutes a criminal offense.

It's essential for public officials to be held accountable for their actions, and any allegations of misconduct should be thoroughly investigated. If found guilty, appropriate action should be taken in accordance with the law and parliamentary procedures. This will help maintain public trust and ensure that our democratic institutions function effectively.

There's a big problem in our forests. A company called Akonta Mining is accused of doing bad things, like selling land to people who mine illegally. This is hurting our environment and causing a lot of damage.

The government has stepped in and told Akonta Mining to stop working. The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources is trying to protect our forests and make sure everyone follows the rules.

This is important because our forests are precious. They provide homes for animals, clean water, and fresh air. If we don't protect them, it can cause serious problems for our communities and future generations.

By stopping Akonta Mining, the government is showing that it cares about our environment and wants to do what's right. Let's hope this action will help protect our forests and promote responsible mining practices.
