Guess Who I Found, “Me” Yaaay!!!🎉
Finding yourself is just as important as finding love — maybe even more.
Sometimes I wish we talked about finding ourselves (who we are as a person) as much as we talk about finding a romantic partner.
Many of us are oblivious to our own strengths, our potentials, our weaknesses, our trauma, our triggers, our mindset, our thought patterns, our values, and our boundaries — and because of that, we often violate ourselves by allowing others to do the same.
Self-knowledge is self-protection.
We don’t realize that we owe it to ourselves to know who God says we are, who life has wired us to be, and ultimately bridge the gap between who God says we are and who He intended for us to be from creation.
When we know ourselves, we intentionally make choices and decisions that align with becoming that person we were meant to be, instead of leaving everything to chance.
But the only way to truly know who we are is to know Christ for ourselves.
It is in Him we find us, because all things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
Because we don’t know ourselves, we often misuse our talents, our gifts, our time, our glory, our resources, and our strengths — and then, when time runs out, some find another to blame, while others take accountability for their choices and make a decision to know God and ultimately know themselves.
They intentionally work on themselves to bring the change they so desire.
I know people may have hurt you, and life may have been hard, but give yourself a chance with God and see what He can do with a surrendered man.
Be willing and intentional to shift from what has always been “the normal” into what it was meant to be — the one-of-a-kind story, because your journey is special to God.
He designed and equipped you to go through it for a purpose, so don’t settle.
Come out of the matrix, seek Him, and you’ll find you.
If this resonates, you’re not alone.
Simply Faith here, stay blessed.
