: Concern about Inadequate Planning for Overflow Crowd – “To all Gospel Artists / Groups”
Dear Event Organizers & Gospel Artist Management Teams,
We write this, to express concern regarding an experience we have had, of inadequate planning and preparation for overflow crowds during Gospel events. By example, the just ended “Flora - made by Grace Music event” hosted by the Award winning Esther Piesie, held on Sunday - 02nd November 2025 at Accra Intl. Conference Centre.
While the event itself was a success in terms of turnout and enthusiasm, the lack of proper arrangements for the large number of attendees created significant challenges for the crowd base.
As an artist with a growing fan base – [especially when bringing onboard or collaborating with other Gospel artists who also have growing fan base as well], it is important to anticipate large crowds and put in place effective crowd management strategies.
Proper event planning should include adequate space, adequate security, adequate seating arrangements, adequate emergency exits, adequate air-conditioning and more importantly a clear communication between fans and artists, before and during the event.
Unfortunately, at this particular event, many fans were left standing outside the venue. We think, overflow crowds should never be treated as an afterthought but as an expected and planned-for part of successful events.
Gospel Artists and their management teams play a vital role in ensuring that events are both enjoyable and secure. Proper coordination with event planners, local authorities, and security agencies is essential.
We respectfully urge Gospel Artists to take these matters seriously and adopt better planning and safety measures for future shows. Your fans are your greatest supporters—they deserve comfort, safety, and respect when they come out to celebrate your music and message.
Thank you for your kind attention, and we hope to see better improvements at future events.
Yours sincerely,
Heph-zi-bah Royal Diadem Music Ministry.
