UPDATE ON THE JUSTICE FOR AUSTIN CASE

Due to the recent flooding, I was unable to make it to court today. Safety had to come first, as movement was extremely difficult in many affected areas.

However, I still obtained an update on the case.

The matter remains at the District Court while investigations continue. The case is still with the CID, and we are currently awaiting advice from the Attorney-General’s office before the next stage of proceedings.

For now, we continue to wait, hope, and pray for justice.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to follow this case and support the call for accountability. We remain committed to seeking justice for Austin Tengbeh and ensuring that his story is not forgotten.

We will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.

Sometimes you need to look beyond the physical, it is not about changing government. DNC has done a lot for Ghana 🇬🇭 this tregity happened 11 years ago and now it's happening again. So now it's the DNC’s fault? Seriously?!

Ghana 🇬🇭 is once again facing severe flooding during the rainy season, and the events of recent days have reminded many of the painful memories of the June 3, 2015 flood and fire disaster that claimed over 150 lives.

Eleven years later, heavy rains continue to affect communities, destroy properties, disrupt movement, and put lives at risk. Today, I was unable to attend court because there was simply no safe way to move the car through the affected areas.

Despite the challenges, I will bring you an update tomorrow.

As we remember the victims of June 3, we must also continue to demand justice for Austin, the Liberian boy who was brutally lynched in Ghana 🇬🇭.

We will not stop speaking until justice is served.

Let me make this clear to everyone who care to read or watch my video. Bail does NOT mean a suspect has been released or free from the case or found innocent.

In Ghana’s justice system, bail is a legal process decided by the judge after hearing both the prosecutor and the defense lawyer. A suspect can still face full trial and possible conviction even after being granted bail.

The prosecutor in this case is appointed by the State through the Attorney-General’s Department. That does not mean the prosecutor is weak or confused about the case. Prosecutors handle criminal matters based on investigations, evidence, and court procedure.

The victim’s family also does not directly control the prosecution, which is why families can sometimes feel unaware or left out during certain court processes, including bail decisions.

For this reason, families in serious criminal cases often hire a private lawyer to monitor proceedings closely, communicate with prosecutors, follow court updates, and protect the family’s interests throughout the case.

This is where my suggestion came from. I still insist the family get a private lawyer.

What matters most is that the case is still before the court, investigations continue, and the law will determine responsibility based on evidence presented during trial.

G RED TV 5 stop misleading. Austin will get justice you watch and see. It's not over till it's over.

God sees everything and he controls everything but we will not let this go never!! Austin will get justice by the court of law and the Ghana 🇬🇭 law. This will never go unpublished. Godforbid!!

Justice For Austin.

PART 2

I brought update on Austin’s case. We were in court on Monday the 12th of May as announced during the previous hearing.

PART 1: New update on Austin’s case the Liberian boy that was beaten to death in Ghana by a mob.

I brought update on Austin’s case. We were in court Monday the 12th of May as announced during the previous hearing.

Usually when the accused persons are brought from the vehicle, they are 5, but this time around we counted only 4.

Immediately Zee looked at me and asked,
“Where is the 5th person?”

Honestly we were confused and started asking questions because nobody around us understood what was happening.

I then asked her to inform her husband so they could find out exactly why only 4 accused persons had been brought to court.

That was when we discovered that one of the accused persons had already been granted bail and was sitting inside the courtroom.

To be honest, many of us were shocked and confused because this same bail had earlier been denied at the District Court.

Naturally, everybody started asking questions:
How was bail later granted?
Which court granted it?
And how is the case still waiting for the Attorney General’s advice while one accused person is already out on bail?

Later we came to understand that even though the substantive case has still not officially started at the High Court, a higher court can separately hear a bail application while proceedings continue.

Apparently, when serious criminal cases delay for a long time before trial begins, the law may allow a higher court to consider temporary release while the case is still ongoing.

That does not mean the case is over.
It does not mean anybody has been declared innocent.
And it does not stop the legal process from continuing.

Justice for Austin.

The 12 of May was Austin’s court hearing but there was a shocking Revelation. And this case is teaching us a lot about how the justice system works. At this point the family is emotionally heartbroken. Will drop a video soon.

Why treat another human being like an animal simply because you assume they stole from you?

Even if someone steals and you catch them, there is still police, security, and proper authorities to handle the situation. Tying someone up, beating them, humiliating them, or handling them in a dangerous way that could injure or kill them is never the right solution.

This young boy may be accused of stealing, and yes, crime is wrong. But if something happens to him because of the way this Fante man decide to “punish” this boy by himself is not right, and when the consequences become far bigger. One moment of anger can turn into a lifetime of regret, legal punishment, and guilt.

No human being deserves to be treated without dignity.

Too many people act emotionally in these situations without thinking about the outcome. If someone is guilty, hand them over to the police. Let the law do its work. Taking matters into your own hands violently does not make the situation better — it can destroy multiple lives at once.

We need to learn to treat people the way we would want to be treated, especially in moments of anger.
