Above all it manifested in our two goals. For those of us who always do not see Mikel's play, today he crowned his efficiency with a beautiful goal. Just to let you know, at Chelsea Football Club, he is a holding defensive midfielder. He has been mandated to destroy or stop opposition attacks and start new play if he wins the ball. Which means he cant just pass the ball forward when he wins the ball. His mindset is to start play. A backpass is one of the efficient ways of beginning new play and let your team play whatever tactic they have been mandated to play by the coach.

This also will mean that Mikel will commit a lot of fouls which will make him more prone to cards. By destroying tackles he is in a higher
position to commit more fouls. Now on today's game, Oscar played a marvelous game. The argument about Mata should be based on tactics of the coach and
not by mere fact that the player has some past glory. I am not saying Mata is not good. One good about Oscar is that he wins tackles
and defends aside his swiftness and skillfulness.

If you watch today's match he
won a lot of tackles at the defensive end as well as when he lost a ball. I have a question, what if Mata does not play but we end up winning all our matches and
the league? What will that mean? For me it wont mean Mata is not good, all it will mean is that he was just not in the tactical plan. And no big deal about that. Those of us making much ado about nothing on Mata not playing should pls cease fire. Let us stop the personality cults we have in
Chelsea and just see the game from results. We won today and the play was awesome in my opinion.
