The PPF organizes Reparations Lecture with University Students.

The demands for reparations continue to grow as young minds get engaged with insightful lecture from Kwesi Pratt Jr., author of book 'Reparations'.

According to a post by the Pan African Progressive Front, the students of the TAN group of the University of Ghana experienced what would be called a life changing session of impactful knowledge.

Students left with more willingness and consciousness to be the next revolutionaries of Africa.

In Accra, Ghana yesterday evening, was a historic launch of a historic book. According to a post-release today by the Pan-African Progressive Front (PPF), H.E President John Dramani Mahama officially launched the book; Reparations: History, Struggle, Politics and Law, authored by veteran journalist Pan-Africanist, activist and coordinating committee member of the PPF, Comrade Kwesi Pratt Jr. The event gathered leaders and cultural figures from across Africa and the diaspora.

In his speech, Pratt stressed that reparations are not merely financial, declaring: “No amount of money can make up for the inhumane brutality faced by the African people.” He added that reparations must “build a solid foundation for the future.”

President Mahama, who wrote the book’s foreword, echoed this sentiment, noting that reparations are about history and the recognition of grievous harm done through slavery and colonialism.

The PPF commended Pratt for the work, saying it “helped bring this book into being, transforming the collective memory of our history into a living reality for Africa and its diaspora.” The PPF urges all Africans everywhere to read, share, and act upon its ideas.
