Liberia's former Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor has reportedly been charged in connection with an alleged drug trafficking network, as authorities intensify a wider crackdown following major co***ne seizures estimated at $336 million.
The allegations are part of an ongoing investigation, and being charged does not mean she has been found guilty.
The case adds another major development to Liberia's efforts to disrupt large-scale drug trafficking networks.
