As a founder and executive director of Deaf Media Ghana, I would like to inform you that Deaf Media Ghana was established on 1st January, 2012 with aims to provide the deaf people in Ghana with opportunities to watch online television and video sites like youtube and facebook. It ensures that the Deaf people in Ghana would have accessible information on news about deaf situations, documentaries, s
oaps, movies, etc over the world. Deaf Media Ghana is really pleased to provide some facilities for workers and have to achieve what they want to do in media, so we would edit videos on deaf issues and situations, upload and show them on Internet. It would have to break the communication barrier between the Deaf and the hearing based on television, and newspapers. I would like to appeal to government and other media partners to support us to purchase camerodes, cameras, computers etc and furnish Deaf Media Ghana with facilities. We would have projects on establishing it. It would offer job opportunities for deaf journalists, newscasters, presenters, deaf actors/ actresses and comedians.
