Real talk: the ones who carry everyone else’s burdens are usually the ones crying in silence when their own weight feels unbearable. They’re the safe space, the shoulder, the problem-solver but when it’s their turn, the room is empty.
Sometimes the strongest friend is the loneliest one.
Sometimes the one who prays for everyone is the one who goes to bed with swollen eyes.
If you have that “strong friend” in your life, check on them. Don’t wait for them to break before you show up. And if you are that strong friend, remember — even Jesus had Simon of Cyrene help Him carry the cross. You don’t have to carry it all alone.
I love you, but Jesus loves you more!
