STATEMENT OF SOLIDARITY WITH FLOOD VICTIMS IN GHANA
From the Office of the Ghana National Coordinator
AfCFTA Young Entrepreneurs Federation (AfYEF) Ghana
It is with deep concern and heartfelt sympathy that we extend our solidarity to all individuals, families, and communities affected by the recent flooding in various parts of Ghana.
On behalf of the AfCFTA Young Entrepreneurs Federation (AfYEF) Ghana, I convey our sincerest condolences to those who have lost loved ones, sustained injuries, or suffered damage to their homes, businesses, and livelihoods as a result of this unfortunate disaster.
Natural disasters of this nature remind us of our shared humanity and the importance of standing together in times of adversity. We commend the efforts of the Ghana security services, the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), emergency responders, volunteers, and community leaders who are working tirelessly to provide relief and support to affected persons.
We call on all AfYEF members, partners, businesses, and well-meaning individuals to demonstrate compassion and support for the affected communities through donations, volunteerism, and any other forms of assistance that can help alleviate the suffering of our fellow citizens.
As an organization committed to youth empowerment, community development, and sustainable economic transformation, AfYEF Ghana stands ready to support initiatives aimed at relief, recovery, and rebuilding efforts.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and their families during this difficult period. May God grant them strength, comfort, and hope as they recover from this tragedy.
Together, we can overcome this challenge and build more resilient communities.
Signed,
Arimiyawu Usman Abubakari
