Stonebwoy has responded directly to Sarkodie, making it clear that his recent comments were not an attempt to disrespect him but a call for accountability and consistency.
According to Stonebwoy, Sarkodie is free to mention anyone he believes has disrespected him while associating with Stonebwoy, but he questioned the mentality that allows Sarkodie to address his feelings whenever he has an issue while expecting the same understanding in return.
Stonebwoy also reminded Sarkodie that he has supported and “bigged him up” on several occasions, even when there was nothing to gain from doing so.
He further stressed that “we cannot omit accountability and responsibility to the same issues that we seek to fix,” insisting that artists must take responsibility for the standards they expect from others.
Despite the tension, Stonebwoy maintained that collaborating or performing together has never been an issue for him, regardless of who makes the call.
His final message was clear: “I don’t need to fck with you. I’m straight.”
The ongoing exchange between the two Ghanaian heavyweights has now moved beyond social media banter into a deeper conversation about respect, accountability, loyalty and double standards within the industry. 🔥
