If I didn't know better, this sounds like an achievement and God was bragging about David. π€
While reading the Old Testament, one observes that polygamy was a prevalent practice during that period, with several revered men of God, such as Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, David, and Solomon, having multiple wives. This practice was not depicted as negative or as behavior requiring correction; rather, it was a customary way of life and appeared to have divine approval.
It's fascinating to ponder when society started viewing polygamy as immoral or ungodly. Is there really something unbiblical about it, or are our worldly views perhaps preventing us from engaging in an act considered 'Godly'?
