The British Sierra leono - Ghanaian 🇬🇭🇸🇱🇬🇧 Idris Elba plans to relocate within the next 10 years to help power up the continent’s growing film industry, according to media reports. The 52 year old star is behind upcoming projects to build a film studio in Accra, Ghana 🇬🇭 and the 🇹🇿 Tanzanian islands of Zanzibar.

Elba said he wants to leverage his star power to back Africa's growing film industry as he says it is vital that Africans get to tell their own stories. “I’m not just thinking about moving—it's happening,” says the actor.
