Happy Easter 🤍✨

He died so I could truly live.
The greatest gift anyone could ever give… a life laid down so mine would never be lost again.

The best love story ever told.
“Greater love has no one than this…”

Jesus is my example of what love really looks like.

Days like this remind me that I am deeply loved.
Days like this remind me that I am not a mistake.
My identity is rooted in Christ.

If He died for me, then it means He saw purpose in me… He knew the difference my life would make.

And to anyone quietly wondering, hurting, or questioning if God sees you…
He does. He knows. He cares.
He’s working through every part of your story, even the ones that don’t make sense yet.
And He’s giving you the strength to overcome.

You are not alone. You are loved.

Happy Easter, family 🤍
He is risen. He is alive.

So I asked a question yesterday about why a woman may need a C-section… and the responses were erh…...

The truth is, it’s not just one answer.

A, B, and C can all be valid reasons.

• A baby may be too big for safe vaginal delivery
• Labour may not progress despite adequate effort
• Or the baby may show signs of distress and need to be delivered quickly

And this is why C-sections are important.
Not as a “shortcut”… but as a life-saving intervention when needed.

Every decision is made based on the safety of both mother and baby.

As a midwife, I’ve realized many people have strong opinions about C-sections… but not always the right information.Let’...

As a midwife, I’ve realized many people have strong opinions about C-sections… but not always the right information.

Let’s talk honestly.

What do you think is the main reason a woman may need a C-section?

A. Baby is too big
B. Prolonged or obstructed labour
C. Fetal distress (baby in danger)
D. It’s just a personal preference

I’ll share the correct answers and break it down in my next post.

Last day of being 25.

This year was different. It was calmer. It was more peaceful. It was beautiful in its own quiet way.

Yes, there were still tears, but not like the years before. Instead, there was peace even in the middle of my storms.

25 taught me a lot about life and a lot about myself. I grew. I softened. I became a better person.

I’m grateful for every lesson this year brought me, and I’m carrying those lessons with me into the next chapter.

Chapter 25… the year I became.

Happy birthday in advance to me.
Hello 26. 🎂✨

Leadership is something many people admire from a distance, but the responsibility that comes with it is not always visible.

Recently, I had the privilege of sitting down with Hon. Edem Kofi Kpotosu for a conversation on leadership, public service, and what it truly means to step into Parliament for the first time.

Our discussion explored the realities behind public office, the expectations that come with representing a constituency, and the lessons that leadership continues to teach along the way.

Personally, I believe growth often comes from listening. I move forward in life learning from the stories of those who came before me and those who are walking ahead of me. Conversations like this are part of that journey.

If you are someone who values leadership, service, and the lessons that shape people along the way, I encourage you to watch this interview. It was a truly insightful conversation and one that left me with a lot to reflect on.

The full interview is now live as part of the Life & Lessons series on Ese Speaks.

I would genuinely love to hear your thoughts after watching.

Happy International Women’s Day 🌸

Today I celebrate women everywhere. Your strength, resilience, brilliance, and the many ways you make the world brighter.

This year’s theme “Give to Gain.” A simple but powerful reminder that when women support, uplift, and encourage each other, we all grow.

Sometimes all it takes is believing in another woman, sharing knowledge, opening a door, or simply reminding her that she is capable.

Today we celebrate you.
You deserve the love.
You deserve the flowers.
You deserve the best.

Keep shining ✨
