🚨 Moment Akrobeto Gets Into a Heated Argument With Trotro Mate Over Fare for His Luggage

Akrobeto has courted attention following his involvement in a public incident with a trotro mate.

In a video shared online on Saturday, May 9, 2026, the veteran Kumawood star was spotted behind a bus at the lorry station.

In the video, the actor fumed and hurled insults at a trotro mate as he complained about the fare he was being charged for transporting his luggage.

The comic actor had apparently been charged more than the required fare for his luggage.

Akrobeto offered a certain cash amount to the conductor, who rejected it and questioned why the actor wanted to pay so little despite his celebrity status.

The actor later requested his luggage be removed from the bus so he could secure another bus to transport his luggage before leaving the lorry station, angry over the conductor's actions.

Regina Van Helvert has reacted to online backlash over a question she posed to actress Fella Makafui on the red carpet of the 2026 TGMA.

The music award was held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday, May 9, 2026, with many notable Ghanaian celebrities in attendance.

Among the high-profile attendees was Fella Makafui, who had an awkward moment with Regina Van Helvert, who, along with Godwin Namboh, was the co-host of the red-carpet event before the main show.

She asked: “If your ex-husband saw you tonight, what do you think he’d say? We didn’t mention names oo, we just said if your ex sees you tonight, what do you think he will be thinking?”

The question immediately caught Fella off guard, but the actress responded in a playful tone and said, “See, you are just looking for a problem for me. I wish everyone the best.”

The incident caused an uproar on social media, with netizens criticising Regina for asking what they deemed an "inappropriate" question.

In response, Regina, who appeared unfazed by the backl, ash, said she would still host the red-carpet session next year unless she gets pregnant.

She said, "We go again next year, if I’m not pregnant."

🚨 “I Felt Like A Grandmother Going To Have A Child": Apostle Rita Korankye Ankrah Reveals She Hid Her Fourth Pregnancy Because She Felt Too Old

Royal Ladies founder and Apostle Rita Korankye Ankrah has opened up about one of the most personal and emotional seasons of her life, revealing that she was so uncomfortable about becoming pregnant at nearly 40 that she hid the pregnancy entirely, feeling what she described as the shame of "a grandmother going to have a child."

Speaking in an interview with media personality MzGee, the respected woman of faith reflected on a motherhood journey spanning four biological children and one adopted child, a road she described as long, sometimes lonely, and full of lessons.

"I was almost 40. Who wants to have a child at that age? I felt like a grandmother going to have a child," she said of her fourth pregnancy, explaining that the emotional weight of her age led her to conceal the news from those around her.

Her earlier deliveries were no less dramatic. Her first child came after a labour that stretched from 9 p.m. to the following day. Her second required nearly 48 hours of labour. Her third pregnancy saw her drive herself to the hospital while in active labour, alone, because she did not want to worry her husband, and because a doctors' strike had disrupted normal emergency services.

Beyond her biological children, she also took in and raised a relative following a family tragedy, expanding her responsibilities as a mother further.

Korankye Ankrah described the bond between a mother and her children as one that never fully separates. "When your children are sick, you are also sick. When they are writing exams, it feels like you are the one writing," she said. Even watching her daughter go through labour brought the experience rushing back: "It was like I was the one in labour again."

She closed with a powerful standard for motherhood: "Every mother's dream is that their children should be better than them. If that doesn't happen, then something went wrong."

🚨Ahuhyehy3‼️ Moment Benedicta Gafah Disgraced Herself With Long Hug With Fadda Dickson At Dr Ofori Sarpong's 60th Birthday

A video from Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong's grand 60th birthday celebration at the Despite Automobile Museum on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, has set Ghanaian social media a,blaze
Benedicta Gafah, who attended the star-studded event in a striking white open-back halter-neck outfit, was caught on camera sharing a very prolonged and close hug with Fadda Dickson, and the way he responded, or rather failed to respond, is what has everyone talking.

In the video, Gafah held on tightly and leaned into the embrace, while Fadda Dickson stood almost completely still, arms barely moving, looking every bit like a man who had decided the hug was not going to be reciprocated.

A second video from a different angle then showed the two in conversation shortly after, before Gafah went in for another hug, this time placing her hand around his neck, and Fadda Dickson responded with a brief, polite tap on her back before the moment passed.

🚨Men Of Prestige: Moment Akwatia Businessman Twum Barima Sprays Cash On Osei Kwame Despite At Dr Ofori Sarpong's 60th Birthday Party

The 60th birthday celebration of Dr. Ofori Sarpong at the Despite Automobile Museum on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, was already one of the most talked-about events of the year, but one moment has completely taken over social media.

Akwatia-based businessman Twum Barima was among the distinguished guests at the lavish invite-only party, which drew some of Ghana's biggest names, including former President John Kufuor and former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

While mingling at the event, Twum Barima found himself in conversation with media and business mogul Osei Kwame Despite. In what appeared to be a spontaneous gesture of celebration and respect, the Akwatia businessman reached into his pocket, a process that reportedly took a while, likely due to the sheer volume of cash he was carrying, and produced what appeared to be a thick wad of GH₵100 notes.

He then proceeded to spray every single note directly onto Despite.

Before those around them could even begin scrambling to pick up the money from the floor, Despite's security team swiftly whisked him away from the scene, a move many observers believe was made to prevent any potential disorder given the large crowd in attendance.

The spectacular moment has since gone viral, with many Ghanaians reacting with a mix of amusement, admiration, and the occasional commentary about the kind of birthday party where a businessman spraying cash on a mogul is simply part of the programme.

🚨 "People Don't Know What I Deal With Behind The Scenes": YOLO Actor Drogba Reveals He Relies On A Spine Support Device To Sit Up And Move

Drogba from the beloved TV series YOLO has given his followers one of his most personal and emotional health updates yet, sharing a TikTok video in which he demonstrated how he uses a spine support device simply to sit up and move slowly on most days.

In the clip, Drogba explained that the device, a Spine MoTech support, is something he depends on daily just to get through basic movements, a reality that he says many people who follow him online have no idea about.

"This is personal. People don't know I rely on my Spine MoTech to sit up most days and to move slowly," he wrote in his caption, giving his followers a raw, unfiltered look behind the scenes of his health battle.

He also shed light on how his medication works, explaining that the more affordable medicines he takes allow him to move around briefly, sometimes for only a few hours, before the side effects knock him out.

He used the moment to ask fans and callers not to take it personally when he fails to respond to phone calls, as he is often asleep from the effects of the medicine.

🚨 Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s Chair Used During His Historic Accra Visit Permanently Preserved At The Despite Museum In A Glass Frame

A powerful symbol of royalty and cultural reverence has found a permanent home in Accra.

The armchair used by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II during a historic visit to the capital has been placed on permanent display at the Despite Museum, preserved in a specially built glass enclosure.

A video of the display, posted on Instagram by meyeasanteni on Tuesday, May 6, 2026, showed the chair positioned as a centrepiece of the museum's collection, treated with the same reverence one would expect for an item associated with one of Africa's most respected monarchs.

The gesture is being widely interpreted as a mark of deep respect for the Asantehene, whose spiritual authority, cultural influence, and leadership of Asanteman command enormous admiration across Ghana and the broader African world.

The Despite Museum, located in Accra, has established itself as a space dedicated to preserving artifacts, memorabilia, and items connected to influential figures in Ghanaian history and culture.

The display has attracted significant attention online, with many Ghanaians expressing pride in seeing the Asantehene honoured in this manner.
