I give thanks to God for moments like this. It truly means a lot to be able to share my thoughts and creative vision with people around the world as a filmmaker. Storytelling is a gift, and I don’t take the opportunity to use my voice lightly.

The Deep Well is more than just a film — it’s food for thought. It opens up conversations that many people shy away from, especially here in Africa. These are the silent realities, the unspoken struggles, and the questions we often bury deep within ourselves. My hope is that this film encourages reflection, dialogue, and healing.

I’m deeply grateful to Garrett for representing and supporting this journey. Having people who believe in your vision makes all the difference.

Honestly, this incredible news has made me the happiest man on the planet as a filmmaker. Never forget many will call it impossible until it becomes possible. This is all by the grace of our Heavenly Father. My deepest gratitude to for believing in these beautiful pieces of art. 🙏🏾

The festival will take place February 23–28, 2026, at the SCERA Center in Orem, Utah, kicking off with a special Opening Night 25th Anniversary Celebration and continuing throughout the week with screenings, events, workshops, and competitions. The week will culminate in an Awards Show honoring the exceptional films and filmmakers of this milestone year.

In our society, men carry a tremendous amount of mental and emotional weight. They are expected to stay strong, keep moving, and remain unfazed—simply because they are men. This silent pressure has become so normalized that many overlook the reality: countless men are struggling, and far too many are losing their lives before their time due to untreated mental health challenges.

With this in mind, we felt compelled to create something meaningful—something that gives a voice to the unspoken. Through film, we aim to shed light on these hidden battles. Today, THE DEEP WELL continues to make remarkable strides, thanks to the festivals and platforms that recognize the importance of telling such stories. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share a carefully crafted art film that speaks boldly and honestly about mental health.
