Togo 🇹🇬 has officially removed visa requirements for all African citizens holding valid passports, allowing travelers to enter the country for up to 30 days without a visa.

The West African nation says the decision is aimed at strengthening African integration, improving mobility across the continent, and encouraging stronger cooperation between African states. Travelers will still need to complete an online travel declaration before arrival.

Known for its coastal capital Lomé, strong regional trade links, and one of West Africa’s busiest ports, Togo joins a growing number of African countries pushing for easier movement across the continent as discussions around economic unity and regional development continue.

Rising on the coast of 🇬🇭 Elmina Castle stands as a haunting yet fascinating testament to Africa’s layered history. Built in 1482 by the Portuguese, it holds the distinction of being the oldest European-built castle in sub-Saharan Africa. For centuries, it was a key hub in the trans-Atlantic trade, its walls witnessing both the ambitions of empires and the human tragedies of the era. Today, Elmina Castle draws travelers from around the world, offering a powerful glimpse into the continent’s colonial past. Walking through its fortress corridors, visitors are reminded of resilience, history, and the importance of preserving memory while exploring one of Africa’s most historic coastal landmarks.

It’s Time For VISA FREE AFRICA for Africans

During the opening ceremony of the 43rd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council in Nairobi, former Kenya Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Dr. Alfred N. Mutua, delivered a powerful message. He argued that Europe implanted division among Africans—divisions still seen today in the strict visa restrictions African nations impose on each other, while Europeans move freely across their continent.

He stressed that these internal walls hold Africa back economically and socially, reinforcing a legacy Africans never created but still suffer from. Do you agree with his perspective?

The UK Ambassador to Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 is doing something different. He is not just staying behind diplomatic walls — he is living .
He uses our public transport. He gets into a kombi like everyone else. He goes into the townships to buy Roadrunner chicken. He speaks our traditional languages. He experiences our culture in a real and genuine way.
This is what respect looks like.
This is what love for Zimbabwe looks like.
Zimbabwe is a free country. Anyone can use public transport — from Harare to Bulawayo, from Bulawayo to Victoria Falls. You can sit next to ordinary people, share stories, laugh, and feel the warmth of our nation.
Zimbabwe welcomes everyone. 🇿🇼
And when someone embraces our culture like this, we appreciate it.
