Sulley Muntari, a great Ghanaian footballer, has won colossal praise for his performance since his return to the Ghanaian premier league in 2022, playing for reigning champions Hearts of Oak.
In 2022, Sulley Muntari agreed to a six-month contract with Hearts of Oak, which will expire at the end of the current season. He has started the majority of the games thus far, scoring one goal and assisting on two others.
Football experts and fans have praised the former AC Milan star for his outstanding performance in the league thus far, despite his age of 37.
In an interview with Stonchist D'Blakk Soulja on Hot 93.9FM's 'Focal Sports' show, the communications director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, reacted sarcastically to Sulley Muntari's incredible performance in the local league, saying, "Sulley Muntari is not a human, He is a spirit, and he can do anything at any time."
The GFA's well-versed media director compared the great player to Daddy Lumba, a famed Highlife musician, saying:
"Sulley reminds me of Daddy Lumba.... Lumba isn't even human... Seriously, their spirits connect directly with you, and these are folks to whom I am closer."
Sulley Muntari played for Inter Milan, AC Milan, Portsmouth, Sunderland, and Udinese in his prime before moving on to Ittihad, Pescara, Deportivo La Coruna, and Albacete in his latter years.
Muntari has had a distinguished career, winning the Serie A twice (2008/2009 and 2009/2010), as well as the Coppa Italia in 2010 and 2011.
He was a member of Inter Milan's 2010 UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup winning team, led by José Mourinho.
