I AM NOT AWARE SYNDROME - Part 1

The vetting of Ministers designate have started in earnest and I must admit that the Vetting Committee is doing a yeomans job especially Committee members from the Minority Caucus.
But I have an issue with some of the "maintained ministers" designated for same portfolio of the previous four years.

Some have shown that they were just playing a "figure head role" in these ministries.
This explains and give reason to why our country for many years have been developing at slow pace.

The dishonesty, lack of integrity, couched-chewed and poured, dodging style of answering some of the questioned posed is very alarming.

For a minister to a ministry for the past four years not to be aware of certain basics or some contracts signed in the minister's area of responsibility and during his/her stewardship, is simply a disservice to God and country.

Some per their over zealousness showed they knew the right thing but could not do it/them because, it is what it is....."political party loyalty first before country.

Single men and women are always advised to keep themselves until they get married.
Whiles in a relationship, it is not advisable to go outside the marriage and have an affair.
In Africa, women in particular are not allow to do so even if they are not yet married.

Men on the other hand are encouraged according to the tradition to get marry to more than one woman. Those who may not marry more than one cheat on their wives and this attitude is well accepted and has become a norm.

There is this school of thought that made society believe that women who cheat on their Hubby's bring curse into their marriage and if care is not taken it could destroy them both....ie the man and the woman.

Others believe that when a woman cheats on her husband, it's nothing, no big deal though society and cultural settings frown upon it.

On Afeamenefa today, we ask: What happens when women cheat on their spouses.....Physical, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually ?
