🚨 Ibrahim Osman, a talented footballer hailing from Akyem Oda Old Town Zongo in Ghana, has successfully undergone his medical assessment in preparation for a summer move to Brighton & Hove Albion FC. His current club, Nordsjaelland, has agreed to a transfer fee of approximately €19.5 million with the Premier League outfit. Alexander Akwasi Acquah On behalf of Kotoku Royal Rush FC receives GHC100,000.00 to help rehabilitate Akim Oda Sport Stadium ;

I have the pleasure and privilege to announce that our effort to assist Kotoku Royals Rush FC to play in their home grounds, Akyem Oda is paying off.

The fundraising efforts to help rehabilitate the stadium was given a boost with a donation from Hon. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Hon. Minister for Communication & Digitilaisation, when she made good her promise of a Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis, GHC100,000.00.

Another Easterner who also paid heed to my request for support is Mr. Gabby Asare Okyere Darko, who also donated a Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis GHC50,000.00 for the stadium rehabilitation effort.

The two were optimistic that the donations will be put into proper use to enhance the team's chances in the premiership.

I, as the MP for Akyem Oda couldn't help but to be thankful for this generous donations. We all have to be involved.

ODA MP HANDS OVER 3-STOREY OFFICE BLOCK PROJECT TO CONTRACTOR

A sod-cutting ceremony has been held to hand over an abandoned twenty-four year old 3-storey block for the Birim Central Municipal Assembly to a new contractor.

The Member of Parliament for the area, Alexander Akwesi Acquah successfully lobbied the District Assembly Common Fund to intervene to fund and complete the project.
Speaking at the event, the MP asserts that the municipality went through a whole lot last year and “we pray this very year goes our way”, he said.

He said "an MP's responsibility is to plead for developmental projects for his constituency and the MCE and her people takes over from there. This, he said is the reason why an MP and his MCE should have a good rapport.

He promised that the Akim Oda Market project will start and be completed in his tenure as MP, while assuring that construction of roads and other projects are also in the pipeline.

He promised that the ultramodern infrastructure will be equipped with the necessary office stationery and called for proper handling too when the contractor completes his work and hands over.

The MP also called on the contractor to put up a good work for quality delivery while ensuring accelerated completion of the project.

The Municipal Chief Executive for the Area Mrs. Victoria Adu commended the Member of Parliament for making this dream come through.

MP FOR AKIM ODA CONSTITUENCY LUNCH VAL’S DAY HEALTH SCREENING AND HEALTH INSURANCE CARD RENEWAL

Yesterday the MP for Akim Oda constituency Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah officially launched his Valentine's Day Health Screening and Health Insurance renewal execrise his constituents which is expected to commence from Monday 14th February, 2022 to Sunday 20th February at all electoral areas in the Akim Oda Constituency.

The MP is expecting more than 2700 Insurance cards to be renewed for 150 people at each electoral area and thousands of people participating in the health screening exercise.

Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah wish his constituents an advance Valentine Day in this Month of love.
