I am deeply honored and humbled by my nomination as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Anloga. This is not just a personal milestone but a solemn call to duty-a call to serve with integrity, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to the development of our beloved District.

I extend my profound gratitude to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, a true statesman and visionary leader, for the confidence reposed in me. This nomination is a testament to his unwavering belief in inclusive governance, grassroots empowerment, and the transformative power of leadership.

My appreciation also goes to our hardworking Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, our dedicated Member of Parliament for Anlo, Hon. Richard Kwame Sefe, and the national, regional, constituency and our hardworking branch executives of our great party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Your support and encouragement fuel my resolve to work diligently in service to the people.

To our revered Chiefs and the good people of Anlo, I owe you immense gratitude for your continuous support, guidance, and trust. Our cultural heritage and unity have always been our strength, and together, we shall channel these values into tangible development for our District. If given the mandate, I pledge to work in alignment with the vision of H.E. John Dramani Mahama and the progressive policies outlined in the NDC’s manifesto. In response to this challenge, Togbi Adaku Dosu VIII rallied the community to take action, spearheading a large-scale beach cleaning exercise. The event brought together residents, fisherfolk, and volunteers in a united effort to restore the beach’s natural splendor and protect its ecological health.

The linguist staff, or Fia-tikplor, is a powerful symbol of authority, communication, and heritage in Anlo Ewe culture. Held by Tsiamiwo (linguists) who serve as spokespersons for chiefs, the staff reinforces the chief's authority and fosters unity within the community.

Each staff is carefully crafted with symbolic designs—often depicting animals or proverbs—that reflect core Ewe values such as patience, courage, and unity. Serving as a focal point during ceremonies and disputes, the staff connects past, present, and future generations.

In the face of modernization, ongoing efforts to preserve the art and meaning of the linguist staff play a crucial role in maintaining the identity and cultural heritage of the Anlo people.
