Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings Passes Away at 76
The nation mourns the passing of Ghana’s Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, who died at the age of 76. According to sources close to the family, she passed away in the early hours of Thursday, October 23, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

Born on November 17, 1948, in Cape Coast in the Central Region, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings was the devoted wife of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings. She stood as a towering figure in Ghana’s political and social landscape—known for her courage, advocacy for women’s empowerment, and lifelong dedication to public service.

Our deepest condolences go out to the Rawlings family and all Ghanaians mourning this great loss. Her legacy of leadership, strength, and service will forever be remembered.

The gentleman bearing this ID as captured in the post was a passenger on board Medina-Hohoe bound vehicle on 22/10/2025 going to Hohoe. On the way he complained of illness.

He was rushed to Anfoega Catholic hospital for treatment but died shortly on arrival. The body has been deposited in the hospital's mortuary.

Anyone who knows the deceased or the family should inform them to contact Anfoega Police on #0506668855 for the necessary action asap!!
