NOTICE OF IRRIGATION INITIATIVE LAUNCH.
Following the relentless efforts of Honourable DICKSON KYERE-DUAH( STUGARD) Bkm West MP, in advancing the development of Berekum West, the highly anticipated irrigation project, which he lobbied and championed for our tomato farmers, is slated to commence today with a sod-cutting ceremony. We cordially invite all stakeholders to convene at the MP's office at JINIJINI this morning at 8:00 am to kick-start this initiative.

Hon. Dickson Kyere Duah, the Member of Parliament for Berekum West (NDC), addressed Ghana's Parliament Yesterday during its proceedings, raising urgent concerns about the escalating armed robberies along the Jinijini–Drobo–Sampa road. He described the 80-km stretch as a "death trap" that is severely disrupting economic activities, instilling fear among residents and commuters, and leading to exploitative practices like inflated transport fares. He called on the government and security agencies to take immediate action to restore safety and protect lives.

Handing Over of New 12-Unit Classroom Block at St. Augustine SHS: A Boost for Education in Berekum West.
The handing over of the 12-unit classroom block at St. Augustine SHS, lobbied by Honourable Dickson Kyere-Duah (STUGARD), occurred on Thursday, November 27, 2025, led by Berekum West DCE, Honourable Collins Asoma (Colley). This event delivered the new facility to the school, enhancing effective teaching and learning infrastructure in Berekum West in the Bono Region of Ghana. The project aligns with Berekum West constituency development initiatives, providing modern classrooms to support both Basic School and Senior High School education. The main programme for the day was the handing over or commissioning of the storey building, but an emergency request (football) from the School sports committee was made, which the DCE had to address by sending someone to get it for them, as a listening DCE and sports enthusiast, since the school was supposed to use it on Friday, the next day, for Fresher's Games.

Berekum West MP, Hon. Dickson Kyere-Duah (Stugard), along with his DCE, Hon. Asoma Collins, and the entire executives, continued their Easter Convention Visitation at the True Church of Christ. Hon. Dickson Kyere-Duah took the opportunity to seek blessings to accomplish all his goals for Berekum West. The next venue was the Pentecost Church Convention premises. Honourable Dickson Kyere-Duah expressed appreciation to the entire Pentecost Church for their regular peace campaign during and after elections. Honourable Dickson Kyere-Duah took the chance to seek blessings for himself and the DCE to fully push for their goals for Berekum West to regain their long-term stability in development.
