Ken Agyapong's former girlfriend and MP Adwoa Safo reveals why she is supporting Bawumia in the flagbearer race

Former MP Sarah Adwoa Safo has clarified that her decision to support Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s 2028 NPP flagbearer bid over Kennedy Agyapong is purely political and not personal.

Speaking in an interview, she explained that although she shares two children with Agyapong, her political alignment is based on her convictions and vision for the party’s future.

According to her, family ties should not dictate political choices, adding that she still respects Agyapong as the father of her children but believes Dr Bawumia is the right candidate to lead the party beyond 2024.
