OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM CHARGER LIMITED ON UEMA

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all artistes who emerged winners in the various categories of last year’s Upper East Music Awards. Your hard work, creativity, and resilience continue to uplift the music scene in the region, and we at Charger Limited celebrate your achievements.

We had initially planned to hold a formal ceremony for the prize presentations; however, due to scheduling challenges, we have been unable to align on a suitable date.

To avoid further delays, all winners and their management teams are kindly requested to reach out directly to our Regional Manager Edward Anafo, Regional Consultant Azongo Albert, and Public Relations Officer Atanga Alex, to facilitate the redemption of their prizes.

After careful reflection and broad consultation, we also wish to announce that Charger Limited will be stepping down as the main sponsor of the Upper East Music Awards for this year. This decision forms part of our ongoing internal restructuring and strategic realignment.

We’ll like to wish the organizers well and assure them of our support if possible for subsequent editions. We hope the scheme grows and addresses its perrenial shortfalls.

We remain committed to the growth of talent in the region and thank all stakeholders for their continued support and understanding.
