During the 2024 General Elections campaign, I promised to support all petty traders, especially our market women with funds to help ease their financial burdens and grow their small businesses.

Today, I am proud to announce that the first phase of this support an amount of GH₵300,000 (3 billion old cedis) has been released to the Women Organizers Committee.

They will oversee the distribution of the funds to our hardworking market women engaged in petty trading.

The committee members are:

🚨 Antonio Rüdiger has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him at Real Madrid until the summer of 2027, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Although he faced criticism for an error in the 4-0 defeat to PSG in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final, his importance to the team remains unquestionable.

The 32-year-old German centre-back logged over 4,500 minutes last season under Carlo Ancelotti, playing in the European Super Cup, three Copa del Rey fixtures—where he scored once—both Spanish Super Cup ties, and the Intercontinental Cup.

Following Real Madrid's standard policy of granting annual extensions to players aged 30 and above, Rüdiger's experience and leadership continue to make him an essential part of the squad, especially under incoming manager Xabi Alonso for the 2025–26 campaign.

His role could become even more critical should the club fail to sign a new central defender this summer.
