Allah continues to protect your unflinching exertion for the Tijaniya Sufi order in Ghana. You can't be an adherent follower of Tijaniya in Ghana without benefitting from the efforts of Sheikh Abdullahi Maikano.
If you are in the Greater Accra Region, remember Mallam Hamza and Alhaji Umar Ibrahim. It got to a moment whereby the Tijaniya scholars got into a perplexed situation, and the status of the Sufi order turned to ameliorate and Sheikh Abdullahi Maikano came to our rescue.
In the Ashanti Region, Mallam Abdul Samad's approach was a new specialty to the elite scholars of Kumasi (Sheikh Adam Baban Makaranta, Alhaji Haruna at-Tijani, Sheikh Ahmad Baba al-Waiz and co.), they couldn't match his method and Sheikh Abdullahi Maikano came to our rescue.
In the Northern Region, Mallam Yussif Salihu Ajura became a strong force against our Sufi order. It got to a time when a follower couldn't hold a rosary and walk majestically on the streets of Tamale without facing persecution from the followers of Mallam Yussif Ajura. And Sheikh Abdullahi Maikano came to our rescue.
These are real issues that occurred during the late 1960s and early 1970s. These are not exaggerations to arrogate the status of Sheikh Abdullahi Maikano but the facts which even the naysayers confirmed. He rescued Tijaniya from mortification and through His efforts, we are practising the litanies of the Sufi order in peace and serenity to an extent, some people are even claiming leadership of Tijaniya in Ghana.

Sheikh Abdullahi Ahmad Maikano infuses a sense of unity and collective venture into Muslims and the adherents of the sanctified path of Tijaniya. He intensified the effort to re-affirm the authority of Sheikh Ibrahim Niasse and enjoined them to resolve any schism through peaceful dialogue devoid of acrimony.
