I'll like to give a little education about .
In the olden days, Borborbor was one of the cherished cultural music ensemble performed by most people in the Volta region and even till date.
Borborbor is danced in a circular form around the drummers and the men who mostly sing even though the women also sing.
The women mostly have a leader like shown in the video below "wearing white Slit and black blouse with red scarf" she goes round and make sure all those dancing bends down at the sound of the trumpet 🎺 or "piccolo",she also in most cases changes the dance moves to correspond with the song being tuned.
But what has changed,?
The most cherished Borborbor has been commercialized therefore introducing profanity in the current dance twerking unnecessarily which has become an eyesore to the public.
People sometimes insults these groups and say all sorts of nasty things about our lovely cherished Borborbor.
Let's go back to the drawing board and correct whatever we're not doing well.
