Efo Etse Nicholas Agbemabiase attends Unveiling of Ex-President Rawlings’ statue in Keta-Dzelukofe
Efo Etse Nicholas Agbemabiase was among several distinguished personalities who graced the unveiling ceremony of a statue in honour of Ghana’s former President, Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, at the Parks and Gardens in Keta-Dzelukofe. The monument is strategically located opposite the Keta Senior High Technical School, a site of historical and symbolic significance.
The ceremony attracted traditional leaders, political figures, opinion leaders, students, and residents of Keta and its environs, all gathered to pay tribute to the late statesman whose leadership left a lasting imprint on Ghana’s political history. The unveiling formed part of efforts to preserve the legacy of former President Rawlings and to inspire future generations with the values of patriotism, discipline, and service to the nation which he espoused.
Speaking at the event, speakers highlighted the contributions of the late President to national development, democratic governance, and social justice, particularly his deep connection to the people of the Volta Region.
