OLY FC is celebrating yet another milestone as one of its outstanding players, Kporha Jerry, has been invited for a one-week trial at Nathan K Football Academy.Jerry, a highly talented defensive midfielder, is the second player from OLY FC to receive such an opportunity following the end of the Division Three League. Known for his composure, ball control, and strong defensive presence, he has been a vital asset to the team throughout the season.Based in Adzido, OLY FC continues to uphold its reputation for grooming young talents and opening doors for them to reach greater heights in football.The entire management, teammates, and supporters of OLY FC wish Kporha Jerry the very best of luck as he takes on this exciting challenge. Ashiagbor Foli, who impressed many with his outstanding performance during the Southern Zone Division Three League while playing for Oly FC, has officially made a move to a higher level in Ghanaian football.
Following a successful trial with Cape Coast-based Division Two side Kormantse Nkum FC, the talented 20-year-old forward has been permanently signed on a two-year deal. Foli, known for his versatility as a centre forward and left winger, completed the move on 3rd August 2025. He has been handed the number 19 jersey.This move marks a major step forward in his football career, and we believe he has what it takes to shine at this level and beyond.We wish Ashiagbor Foli all the best in his new chapter with Kormantse Nkum FC. The entire Oly FC family is proud and looks forward to hearing more great news from him in the near future.

Ashiagbor Foli, a promising 20-year-old footballer, played as a centre forward and left winger for Oly FC, a Division Three club based in Adzido in the Volta Region of Ghana.Although Oly FC did not achieve their season’s goals, Foli’s individual brilliance on the pitch did not go unnoticed. His pace, positioning, and attacking instincts made him one of the most influential players in the squad throughout the campaign.His standout performances have attracted interest from higher-tier clubs. Notably, Jomoro FC, a Division Two club in the Ashanti Region, has shown keen interest in the young talent. However, it is Kormantse Nkum FC, another Division Two club based in the Central Region (Cape Coast), that has taken a step further by officially inviting Foli for trials.This trial presents a valuable opportunity for Ashiagbor to progress in his football career and showcase his abilities at a higher level. Out of four matches played, OLY FC has managed to record only one win and has suffered three defeats, raising concerns among their loyal fanbase.Their most recent loss came against Havedzi Star FC, a match that highlighted the team’s defensive lapses and lack of finishing precision. The result leaves OLY FC in a difficult position on the league table as the season progresses.In a post-match interview, the team’s manager remained calm and optimistic despite the poor run of form.“This season is an experimental one for us. We are trying out new tactics, assessing player combinations, and building a long-term competitive team.
