THE DISPENSATIONS, THE BRIDE, THE RAPTURE AND THE GREAT TRIBULATION.
The basic biblical questions the Christian must ask him or herself are:
1. What Dispensation of Time are we in?
2. When will the Rapture take place?
3. Who is the Bride?
4. When will the Great Tribulation begin?

THE DISPENSATION OF TIME
In the beginning God placed signs (heavenly bodies) in the skies which Man observed as his Calendar (of perfect 30 days in a month). However, that heavenly calendar was no more after God destroyed the Earth with flood (The Deluge) in Noah’s Age. But Man needing his own calendar, observed the signs of the heavenly bodies i.e. the Sun, the Moon, Planets and the Stars (Astronomy) and Seasonal Changes (Thus, Cliimatic Changes) to design or develop a Calendar. The various Calendars developed by Man were not as perfect as the one God placed in the heavens or skies when He created Man. So Man’s sense of Time (Calendar) was always confused, lost or adjusted to cater for New Seasons (Climatic Changes) whenever there were unique occurrences in the heavenly bodies e.g. eclipses. Astrological Signs and Astronomical events were and are compiled to give picturesque situations of Spiritual Things in the carnal materialistic world. For instance in the Gregorian Calendar (de facto international calendar) there are months with 31 days, some with 30 days and February with 28 days which is adjusted by adding 1 day every four years (leap year) to ensure a Standard Calendar otherwise should major climatic or Astronomical events occur, they would (likely) influence The Calendar. In the perfect Calendar which God provided to Man in the beginning, each month had exactly 30 days and a year was made of 12 perfect months (360 days).
THE SEVENTY WEEKS OF DANIEL
In the 70 weeks of Daniel (Daniel 9:20, 24-27) The Angel Gabriel reveals to Daniel the Prophet that, within a space of 70 weeks the Israelites who were in captivity in Babylon will return home to rebuild Jerusalem (The Holy City), the problem of sin will be ended and the Lord-God will reconcile them to Himself then bring righteousness that has no end(ing) thus, everlasting to the Earth and every Prophecy and vision about the Messiah (the Anointed One or the One with the Holy Spirit, the Christ) will be fulfilled.
So what do The 70 weeks of Daniel represent?
Let us get some revelation from Leviticus 25:8.
Leviticus 25:8 And thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty nine years.
In Ancient Israelite Calendar seven Sabbaths (seven weeks) of years gives 49 years i.e. 7×7 = 49 (Leviticus 25:8). Note that a week makes a Sabbath or every seven days make Sabbath. But the Sabbath of years is every seven years make a Sabbath of week. So seven weeks of Sabbath of years is 49 years since 7 times seven is equal to 49 years.
Therefore, The 70 weeks (70 Sabbaths) of Daniel are of years not the literal weeks which comprise of 7 days each. Hence, 70 weeks of Daniel is 70 Sabbaths of years. If seven Sabbaths (weeks) of years gives 49 years in Leviticus 25:8, then seventy Sabbaths of years is 490 years in Daniel 9:24. Therefore if a week is 7 years, 7 times 70 is equal to 490 years (7×70 = 490).
Now let us get some revelation with a clearer understanding of Daniel 9:24-27.
In Daniel 9:24 The Lord-God apportioned that within 490 years i.e. 70 weeks of years of His own Time (not the time of Man) that He, God will forgive the stubbornness (sins and transgressions) of Israel and reconcile them to Himself (God). And within The 70 weeks of years (490 years) The Lord-God has determined that every vision and prophecy about Himself in a Celestial Body called The Lord-God Jesus thus Jehovah-Saviour will be fulfilled and He will bring Everlasting Righteousness with no more sin on Earth.
In Daniel 9:25 of The 70 weeks (490 years) that is from The Time The Angel, Gabriel gave the message to Daniel that the Temple and Jerusalem will be re-built to when the Messiah (The Anointed One or The One with The Holy Spirit) will come and be killed is 69 weeks (483 years). In other words from the time the Israelites returned from Babylon to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple in the days of Zerubbabel and Nehemiah to when the Lord Jesus Christ came on earth and was crucified was 69 weeks (483 years) out 70 weeks (490 years). It is noteworthy that Babylonians in the days of Nebuchadnezzar came to destroy Jerusalem, did havoc to the Temple built by King Solomon and took some Israelites captives to Babylon (II Kings 24:10-15 & II Kings 25:9-10).
In Daniel 9:26 after 62 weeks (434 years) the Messiah was to be crucified. That is, out of the 69 weeks (483 years), 7 weeks (49 years) was used to rebuild the temple and Jerusalem and from the period after the temple and Jerusalem were rebuilt to when Jesus Christ came on earth and was crucified was 62 weeks (434 years). In the same Daniel 9:26 another Prince (a Gentile ruler) was to come and destroy the city (Jerusalem) and the sanctuary (the rebuilt temple or the second temple). The destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple was to come suddenly like a flood. In Matthew 24:1-2 our Lord-God Jesus prophesied this to His disciples and this prophesy came to pass in the year A.D 70 when the Roman army commander Titus (later emperor) invaded Jerusalem and decimated and exterminated the Jews and the Temple was pulled down and desecrated. After the invasion and destruction, the rest of the Jews were led captives into different parts of the world. However, as prophesied that God will call His children of the Covenant (Israelites or Jews) from every part of the world to return home, in 1948 Jews from different parts of the world returned to Palestine to form the Nation Israel (Isaiah 11:11-12 & Ezekiel 20:34).
Daniel 9:27 explains that in the remaining one week (7 years) that powerful ruler will make agreement with many people and in the middle of the last week (69th and a half week) of the 70 weeks (490 years) he will make the Jews to stop sacrificing and worshiping God so that spiritual filthiness will increase until the end of the world. That powerful ruler who is to confirm covenant with many is not necessarily Titus the army commander (later emperor of the Roman empire) who destroyed Jerusalem and the temple but the System of Government which Titus superintended will transform into a Politico-Religious System controlled by a powerful person ( the Antichrist) who will unite all systems (economic, religious, political etc) such as The United Nation, The European Union, African Union, all Socio-Religious Groups into a single Powerful Organization and consolidate Its powers. With such powers, this antichrist will subtly control all the people of the world through the pacts that he will make with the governments of all nations and religious organizations.
In the 69th week the Jews rejected the Messiah (the Anointed One or the One with the Holy Spirit called the Christ) and in uproar, ranted let His blood be on us and our children and delivered Him to be crucified (Matthew 27:25). The moment the Jews rejected the Messiah, God turned His attention from them to the gentiles (Romans 11). Ever since the Jews rejected the Messiah God has been calling the gentiles to accept the Salvation which He offers only in His Son Jesus Christ. No one knows whether God stopped ticking the prophetic clock (for the Jews) in the first half of the 69th week so that the gentiles can also accept Eternal Life offered them, only in OUR LORD-GOD JESUS. But OUR LORD-GOD JESUS gave us signs of the End Time to keep the Believer ever ready for His Second Coming, that is, Matthew 24 and 2nd Timothy 3:1-5. Meanwhile, since the First Half of the 69th week the antichrist has ever been feverishly preparing himself to consolidate power by translating himself into a false priest in The House of OUR LORD-GOD JESUS. (II Thessalonians 2:3-4). Once he consolidates power he (the antichrist) will exercise it with iron fist as he did in the Dark Ages but this time it is the Economic System of the world through the Ecumenical Counsil (Revelation 13:16-17) that he will use to achieve his agenda. He who controls the economy controls all aspect of society but not the Child of OUR LORD-GOD JESUS.
WHEN WILL THE RAPTURE TAKE PLACE
It is believed in the Christendom that the seven characteristic churches (in Asia) found in Revelation 2:1 to 3:20 which John was to take prophetic message (rebuke and encouragement) to were churches that actually existed in Asia minor with distinctive characters which were to manifest in the ages to come in the first half of the 69th week. It is believed that the characters of the six out of the seven churches have already been manifested within the last two thousand years when God perhaps stopped ticking the prophetic clock (for the Jews). The seventh and last church is called Laodicea has characters peculiar to this current time whereby the church is lukewarm (a friend of the world and wants to be a friend of God), says it is rich (have hotels, schools, banks, fat bank accounts etc), but does not know it is blind (have replaced the true gospel with social and prosperity gospel), she is spiritually blind, poor, miserable and naked. Lord Jesus gives us a clue that before His second coming it will be like the days of S***m and Gomorrah and as of the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37). In the days of S***m and Gomorrah men slept with men and women slept with women (Genesis 19:4-8). In the days of Noah wickedness abounded men loved themselves and their love waxed cold and they mocked everything called righteous (Genesis 6:5). Is it not clear that so-called intellectually and economically advanced countries have already legalized homosexuality? In the Book of 2nd Timothy 3:1-5 the exact features of this current time are enumerated as people being proud in the name of self esteem, blasphemers (have no respect for God and despite everything holy) and without natural affection (have no love for his fellow man and would use, abuse and refuse him).
Another clear sign of the end time is the falling away (the church departing away from the apostolic gospel) and the coming of the man of sin, the son of perdition into the church (2nd Thessalonians 2:3). Who is this man of sin, the son of perdition? 2nd Thessalonians 2:4 gives a clue about this mysterious person. That person who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. In other words this mysterious person takes over the church of God and replaces the Word of God (the Gospel and the teachings of the Apostle inspired by the Holy Spirit) with man-made doctrines then elevates himself to an authority that whatever thing he does, he does it in the stead of God. He hates everything about God, His Word, His teachings and those that worship God (in Christ). If anyone hates, opposes, and exalts himself above Jesus Christ that person is an antichrist. Therefore before the second coming of Christ Jesus, the antichrist will translate himself into a fake Christian (priest) ruling in the temple of God. Ruling who? The spiritually blind, naked and miserable who when the truth is placed before them but they hardheartedly refuse to accept it.
No one knows the exact time, hour, day, month or year that the rapture will take place but all the clues given to the believer are glaringly showing. Now that the children of God (the Bride) have been alerted of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ let us be more ever ready as a watchman keeps vigil for the early morning light (twilight) because the Rapture is likely to take place any moment before the prophetic clock (for the Jews) starts ticking again from the second half of the 69th week to the 70th week.
WHO IS THE BRIDE
The Bride is simply those who accepted salvation offered them in Jesus Christ in the last week of the seventy weeks and got “raptured” to heaven before the Great Tribulation. They are mostly gentiles who accepted and lived a life based on the gospel of Salvation which our Lord Jesus and the Apostles preached. In heaven they are the Wife of our Lord Jesus because on Earth they kept their vow to serve Him by faithfully obeying His teachings (the Gospel).
WHEN WILL THE GREAT TRIBULATION BEGIN
The great tribulation begins immediately the Bride “raptures”, then God again turns His attention to the Jews and the prophetic clock starts ticking again from the second half of the 69th week (3 and a half years) to the 70th week (490th year). By that time the full force of the antichrist’s power will be unleashed against those Jewish Christian believers who refuse to accept the mark of the beast that is the 666 (Revelation 13:16-18). He will persecute them as he did in the Dark Age to gentile Christian believers but the persecution will be done through the economic system of the world. The gentile churchgoers who fail to “rapture” are like the five (5) foolish virgins who had no extra oil for their lamps (Matthew 25:1-13). In the Rapture those who died in Christ Jesus will resurrect in the first resurrection and those who sincerely follow the Gospel of our Lord Jesus and that which was given through the Apostles to the church will be translated to heaven to spend a thousand years with our Lord Jesus (I Thessalonians 4:15-17). The first resurrection has power because the Bride will reign with the Bridegroom (our Lord Jesus) and will be given power to judge the unbelievers who refused to accept the message of Salvation ever since it was proclaimed and those who go through the tribulation (Matthew 19:28, I Corinthians 6:2-3 & Revelation 20:4&6).
As the tribulation is in process on earth, the Bridegroom and the Bride will be in heaven spending thousand years (Revelation 20:6). After the thousand years in heaven Satan is loosed from his prison and he comes to deceive people of all nations and gather them for a spiritual warfare called Armageddon with God but he Satan does not even fight but is conquered and Satan, his false prophet thus the antichrist are thrown into the LAKE OF FIRE (Revelation 20:7-10 & Revelation 19:19-21). After the spiritual warfare the unbelievers are judged and thrown into the LAKE OF FIRE (which is the second death) that is Revelation 20:12-15. The first death is when God cursed Man in the garden of Eden that he will die physically when he eats the forbidden fruit (Genesis 1:17) and the second death which is spiritual death in the form of punishment of the soul, is when man refuses to accept Salvation through Christ Jesus and refuses to obey God’s Word whilst he was living in flesh (living unrighteous life). In this case, the unrighteous soul is separated from God and thrown into the LAKE OF FIRE forever (no end). Be not deceived you are made of spirit, soul, and body (I Thessalonians 5:23) and the real you is the soul. So whatever thing you do in the body your soul shall account for it.
WHO ARE THE TWO WITNESSES IN REVELATION 11?
They are two prophets with the anointing that was upon Prophet Moses and Prophet Elijah and they will reveal (with signs and wonders) our Lord Jesus Christ to the Jews that the Messiah which they have been expecting since when Prophet Moses told them to expect Him had already come in the flesh in the Person of our Lord Jesus Christ and was crucified by their fathers. The Jew was spiritually blinded and hardened not to see and accept the Messiah by God (John 12:40 & Romans 11:25). However, when the sins of the gentiles are filled to the brim (the overspreading of abominations Daniel 9:27 talks about) God then turns His attention again to the Jews then opens and softens their eyes and heart. So 12,0000 elected Jews from each of the twelve tribes of Israel will believe the message of Salvation by these two witnesses (Prophets) and accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Therefore, a total of 144,000 elected Jews will accept the Lord Jesus Christ during the great tribulation and go to heaven (Revelation 7:3-8). This 144,000 Jews don’t form part of the Bride. They will be persecuted and massacred by the antichrist. Surprisingly these two prophets will witness Christ Jesus to the Jews for only three and a half years and there remain only three and a half years (the second half of the 69th week) of the prophetic clock to tick to the 70th week. Only My Lord-God J.E.S.U.S (Jehovah. Eternal. Saviour of. Ultimate. Souls) Saves. Amen.
