E/R: New Asuoyaa:; "We are farmers and we can't afford paying 2ghc per day to cross River Densu to our destination with the boat. - Famers Lament
Farmers, Citizens and anyone crossing New Asuoyaa river Densu with the boat to his or her destination pays 2ghc Now.
It has move from 1ghc to 2ghc from now on. This had brought controversy among the people. Some says it should be remain 1ghc but leaders says NO.
Due to this boat fare increment, those who knows how to swim, crosses the river Densu by swimming.
"You people have to consider us as farmers because, imaging you crossing this river the whole week to your farm, it will cost 14ghc which is very serious challenges to us" - a farmer laments.
The leaders fare increment reason is that, the boat is getting older, so we need to get new one to replace it.
