If there is anyone who could have ministered without depending on the HOLY SPIRIT, it was JESUS CHRIST. Yet Scripture reveals that; Jesus did nothing of ETERNAL IMPACT until the HOLY SPIRIT came upon Him. Jesus was BORN by the HOLY SPIRIT, LED by the HOLY SPIRIT, EMPOWERED by the HOLY SPIRIT, and SUSTAINED by the HOLY SPIRIT. He did not rely on His DIVINE IDENTITY alone; He modeled TOTAL DEPENDENCE. Acts 10:38 gives us the DIVINE FORMULA for Effective Ministry and Kingdom Life Style: ANOINTING + HOLY SPIRIT + POWER = DOING GOOD and DESTROYING OPPRESSION.

Jesus did not go about displaying Power for Admiration; He went about DOING GOOD. He healed the oppressed, restored the broken, confronted evil, and revealed the Father’s heart. Everything He did flowed from the anointing of the HOLY SPIRIT. In Luke 4, after His baptism, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, returned in the Power of the Spirit, and then boldly declared, “THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME…” That declaration was not a slogan; it was a lifestyle. The HOLY SPIRIT is not optional equipment; He is the OPERATING SYSTEM of the Believer’s life. Without Him, ministry becomes performance, service becomes struggle, and faith becomes formality.

Beloved, not every SMILE is SINCERE. Not every PROPHECY is PURE. Not every OPEN DOOR is DIVINE. Not every PRAISE is APPROVED by Heaven. Without the DISCERNMENT of the HOLY SPIRIT, Believers become VULNERABLE, easily deceived, manipulated, and misled. The tragedy today is that many Believers pray for POWER but neglect PURITY; they seek GIFTS but ignore GUIDANCE. Yet the HOLY SPIRIT is more interested in protecting you than impressing others through you.

The WORD OF GOD MADE ALIVE to You This Day Therefore: IF JESUS NEEDED THE HOLY SPIRIT TO FULFILL DESTINY, THEN SELF-RELIANCE HAS NO PLACE IN THE LIFE OF A BELIEVER. Many today attempt to live the Christian life by willpower, talent, experience, or religious routine. The result is burnout, frustration, and powerless Christianity. The HOLY SPIRIT did not anoint Jesus for Noise, but for Impact. He did not Empower Him for Comfort, but for Confrontation. He did not Lead Him to Applause, but to Assignment.

Jewel, answer this personal question honestly: If Jesus is your model, WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT? Will you depend on Him daily, or only when challenges arise? Will you follow His leading, or insist on your own methods? May God deliver you from self-reliance and flesh-driven Christianity in Jesus’ Name. SHALOM!

One of the most abused assumptions in our generation is the fact that ‘If it LOOKS GOOD, SOUNDS SPIRITUAL, and FEELS RIGHT, then it must BE GOD’. Nothing could be further from the truth. The HOLY SPIRIT is not only the Spirit of Power; He is the SPIRIT OF TRUTH. One of His critical ministries in the life of the Believer is DISCERNMENT; the Supernatural Ability to See beyond appearances and detect what is truly at work behind actions, words, and motives. In Acts 5, Ananias and Sapphira looked generous, sounded sacrificial, and appeared committed. To the natural eye, their offering was impressive. But Peter, by the HOLY SPIRIT, saw what no human sense could reveal: DECEPTION hidden beneath DEVOTION. Peter did not investigate. He did not interrogate. He did not speculate. The HOLY SPIRIT revealed the truth instantly. This tells us that DISCERNMENT is not learned by INTELLIGENCE; it is ACTIVATED by INTIMACY with the HOLY SPIRIT.

The WORD OF GOD MADE ALIVE to You This Day Therefore: IF YOU WILL DO ANYTHING MEANINGFUL WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, YOU MUST ALLOW HIM TO SHARPEN YOUR SPIRITUAL PERCEPTION. DISCERNMENT IS NOT SUSPICION; IT IS DIVINE SIGHT. IT DOES NOT MAKE YOU CRITICAL; IT MAKES YOU CAREFUL. Romans 8:14 reminds us that sons of God are led by the Spirit. Leadership by the HOLY SPIRIT includes warning you when something is wrong, restraining you when something is dangerous, and exposing lies before they destroy Destinies.

Jewel, In 2026, do not live by emotions alone. Do not trust appearances. Do not follow voices simply because they are loud or popular. Ask the HOLY SPIRIT to help you see what is behind what is before you. You must do some great things with the HOLY SPIRIT henceforth. Don’t ignore His warnings, pay attention to His Whispers and Obey Him promptly. May you not miss out of great benefits hidden in doing serious business with the Holy Spirit in life and Destiny in Jesus’ Name. SHALOM!

The HOLY SPIRIT never FILLS a man to keep him HIDDEN. He FILLS men to SEND them OUT. One of the clearest proofs that a person has genuinely yielded to the HOLY SPIRIT is movement from SILENCE to SPEECH, from PRAYER to PROCLAMATION, and from GATHERING to GOING. The Upper Room was never meant to be a permanent address; it was a LAUNCHPAD. In Acts 2:14: “Then PETER STOOD UP…” This is the same Peter who once denied Jesus before a servant girl. What changed? The HOLY SPIRIT moved him from FEAR to FAITH, from COWARDICE to COURAGE, and from PRIVATE DEVOTION to PUBLIC DECLARATION. When the HOLY SPIRIT came, Peter did not stay seated. He did not stay silent. He did not stay safe. He stood up, lifted his voice, and preached Jesus boldly. That day, about THREE THOUSAND SOULS were added to the Church, not because Peter was eloquent, but because the HOLY SPIRIT was ACTIVE.

In Acts 3, the same Peter who preached boldly also demonstrated supernatural compassion. At the gate called Beautiful, he did not give excuses or sympathy; he gave power-backed help. “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee.” What he had was the HOLY SPIRIT, and he used Him. The HOLY SPIRIT pushes Believers from PRAYER CLOSETS to OPEN STREETS, from spiritual comfort zones to kingdom confrontation zones. He will not allow you to remain locked in perpetual preparation. There comes a time when the Spirit says, “Go. Speak. Stretch your hand. Act.” Believers need to ask this unavoidable question: HAS THE HOLY SPIRIT MOVED YOU OUT OF COMFORT INTO COURAGE? Many Believers enjoy Upper Room experiences but avoid Open Street responsibilities. They love PRAYING but fear PROCLAIMING. They love receiving but resist releasing. Yet the HOLY SPIRIT was never given to make us COMFORTABLE; He was given to make us EFFECTIVE.

The WORD OF GOD MADE ALIVE to You This Day Therefore: IF THE HOLY SPIRIT TRULY DWELLS IN YOU, HE WILL COMPEL YOU OUTWARD, TO SPEAK, TO SERVE, TO HEAL, TO WITNESS, AND TO IMPACT LIVES BEYOND YOURSELF. Christianity that never leaves the Upper Room has missed the mind of God and the purpose of gifting the HOLY SPIRIT to mankind. This year, do not ask only for more ENCOUNTERS. Ask for bold obedience. Ask for holy courage. Ask for Spirit-driven action. The streets are waiting. The world is watching. Heaven is counting. WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT?

Today, we are building on the just-concluded series where we learned the various dimensions to discover the HOLY SPIRIT and the importance of having an established cordial relationship with Him. Many Believers proudly testify, “I have RECEIVED THE HOLY SPIRIT,” yet years later, there is little evidence of DIVINE IMPACT, TRANSFORMED CHARACTER, BOLD WITNESS, or KINGDOM RESULTS. The HOLY SPIRIT was never given as a spiritual badge, a church identity, or a Sunday experience. He was given for PURPOSE, ASSIGNMENT, and IMPACT. Jesus did not tell the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for excitement, tongues, or emotional moments. He told them to wait for POWER, and that Power had a clear objective: “YOU SHALL BE MY WITNESSES.” The HOLY SPIRIT came, not to DECORATE their FAITH, but to ACTIVATE it. WHAT ARE YOU NOW DOING WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT?

On the day of Pentecost, the disciples did not remain in the upper room admiring the experience. They stood up, spoke out, and stepped into Destiny. The HOLY SPIRIT immediately pushed them from PRIVACY to PUBLICITY, from WAITING to WORKING, and from RECEIVING to RELEASING. Believers, in the journey of the New Year 2026, WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT YOU HAVE RECEIVED? The tragedy of our time is not the absence of the HOLY SPIRIT in the Church, but the UNDERUTILIZATION of HIS PRESENCE. Many carry Him, yet refuse to follow Him. Many speak in tongues, yet ignore His leading. Many celebrate the experience, yet neglect the assignment.

The WORD OF GOD MADE ALIVE to You This Day Therefore: AS THIS NEW YEAR UNFOLDS, THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ASKING YOU PERSONALLY: YOU RECEIVED ME, WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH ME? The HOLY SPIRIT is waiting not for more prayers alone, but for more ACTIONS OF FAITH (steps of faith). He is waiting for Believers who will not just say, “USE ME, LORD; LEAD ME, LORD; SEND ME, LORD; AND EMPOWER ME, LORD,” but surrender intentionally in willing Alignment for the same. Romans 8:14 declares that true sons of God are not those who merely possess the Spirit, but those who are LED by Him. LEADERSHIP OF THE SPIRIT demands SURRENDER, OBEDIENCE, SENSITIVITY, and ACTION.

Today, as we conclude this powerful series on THE FIVE (5) Ps OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, it is crucial to establish that THE GIFTS and THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT are essential and both must be desired. The GIFTS without FRUIT produce POWER without CHARACTER. Also, the FRUITS without GIFTS produce CHARACTER without IMPACT. Nevertheless, THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT. This is not to diminish the value of SPIRITUAL GIFTS but to Restore DIVINE ORDER. In God’s economy, CHARACTER PRECEDES CAPACITY, and FRUIT PRECEDES FUNCTION.

The GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT are given, sovereignly distributed by the HOLY SPIRIT as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:11). A Believer may receive gifts suddenly and operate in them powerfully. However, Scripture and experience both confirm a sobering reality: a person can operate in Gifts and still struggle with sin. Gifts authenticate calling; they do not validate character. On the other hand, the FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT (Galatians 5:22–23) are not given; they grow. Fruit develops through YIELDEDNESS, OBEDIENCE, DISCIPLINE, and DAILY FELLOWSHIP with the HOLY SPIRIT. Fruit reflects inner TRANSFORMATION, not EXTERNAL MANIFESTATION. You can have GIFTS and still live carelessly, but you cannot walk in the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT and continue comfortably in sin. Fruit confronts the flesh. Fruit subdues wrong desires. Fruit makes sin uncomfortable and righteousness attractive.

The WORD OF GOD MADE ALIVE to You This Day Therefore Is: THE HOLY SPIRIT DESIRES TO FORM CHRIST IN US BEFORE HE MANIFESTS POWER THROUGH US. WHEN FRUIT COMES FIRST, GIFTS ARE EXPRESSED WITH HUMILITY, LOVE, AND RESTRAINT. WHEN GIFTS COME BEFORE FRUIT, PRIDE, ABUSE, AND EVENTUAL COLLAPSE OFTEN FOLLOW. Many ministries have risen by GIFTS but fallen for lack of FRUIT. This is why Jesus emphasized FRUITFULNESS over PERFORMANCE: “By THEIR FRUIT you will RECOGNIZE THEM” (Matthew 7:16). He did not say by their GIFTS, but by their FRUIT. Fruit is the true measure of SPIRITUAL MATURITY.

Beloved, this New Year, do not just pray for POWER; pray for PURITY. Do not just desire MANIFESTATIONS; desire TRANSFORMATION. It is better to grow in the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT first, because fruit positions you for trust, sustains your testimony, and guarantees longevity in God’s assignment. May the Holy Spirit help you not only to do mighty things for God but also to become like Christ in all things in Jesus’ Name. SHALOM!

We started discussing each of THE FIVE (5) Ps OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. And we have completed the unveiling of the Five (5) Ps, and they are #. HIS PERSON, #. HIS PURPOSE, #. HIS PRESENCE, #. HIS PURSUIT, & HIS POWER. Before we conclude this series, it is important to state that knowing THE HOLY SPIRIT by all these FIVE (5) Ps and having a COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP with Him thereby will surely position Believers to access HIS GIFTS and HIS FRUITS. Without this TOTAL PACKAGE from THE HOLY SPIRIT, life becomes lite. To live the very best of life on the Earth doing God’s Will and Advancing His Purposes and Kingdom, THE GIFTS and THE FRUITS of THE HOLY SPIRIT are essential.

The Apostle Paul teaches that “to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good”—1 Corinthians 12:7. He then lists out THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT: WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, FAITH, HEALING, MIRACLES, PROPHECY, DISCERNING OF SPIRITS, TONGUES, and INTERPRETATION (v.8–11). These GIFTS are DIVINE ENABLEMENTS, supernatural operations released by the HOLY SPIRIT to advance God’s Purpose on Earth. The Gifts are about FUNCTION & ACTION. They Empower Believers to serve, to edify the Church, to demonstrate the reality of God, and to confront darkness with heaven’s authority. Through the Gifts, the HOLY SPIRIT makes the invisible God visible and the Eternal Kingdom tangible.

However, Scripture does not stop at GIFTS. In Galatians 5:22–23, we are introduced to the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, AND SELF-CONTROL. The Fruit reveals the character of Christ formed in the Believer. While Gifts may be exercised at moments, Fruit is cultivated daily. The HOLY SPIRIT never intended a separation between the two. GIFTS reveal what God can do through you; FRUIT reveals who God is becoming in you. Gifts may announce ministry, but Fruit sustains it. Gifts may draw crowds, but Fruit keeps destinies intact.

The WORD OF GOD MADE ALIVE to You This Day Therefore Is: WHEN GIFTS AND FRUIT WALK TOGETHER, THE CHURCH BECOMES BOTH POWERFUL AND PURE, EFFECTIVE AND CREDIBLE. God’s desire is not that you merely operate in the Spirit, but that you also resemble Christ. The Holy Spirit works in us for transformation and through us for demonstration. As you journey through this New Year, hunger for both. Ask the Holy Spirit to release His gifts through you and cultivate His fruit within you. This is the pathway to a balanced, fruitful, and impactful Christian life.
