TVET STUDENT AWARDED FOR DECENT DRESSING IN SUNYANI
In a commendable move by the Ghana TVET Service, Mr. David Prah, the Acting Director-General, awarded a student for his outstanding personal presentation during a visit to the Sunyani Methodist Technical Institute in the Bono Region. The student, Awuah Ampofo, who is pursuing Electrical Engineering, was recognized for his exemplary attire, reflecting the values of professionalism and commitment to vocational education and training (TVET).
As a testament to his dedication, Awuah was granted a week-long educational trip to Accra, which includes a flight from Sunyani, as a part of his reward. This morning, he was seen at the airport, filled with anticipation for the journey ahead, a journey that not only signifies a personal achievement but also serves as an inspiration to his peers.
The Acting Director-General took this opportunity to inspire all TVET students to adhere to the principles of discipline, integrity, and excellence, viewing their education as a stepping stone to future achievements. In support of this vision, Mr. Gabriel Gyamfi, the Bono Regional Director, personally ensured Awuah's departure from Sunyani Airport for his enriching experience in Accra.
This initiative is a reflection of Ghana's commitment to transforming the nation through the empowerment of its youth via TVET, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
