The Youth MESSIAH Samuel Dwamena Sekyere writes ✍️✍️

In a strong demonstration of his unwavering commitment to youth development, grassroots empowerment, and sports promotion within the Afigya Kwabre North Constituency, Mr. Samuel Dwamena Sekyere, a philanthropist, a native of Boamang and an aspiring NPP Constituency Youth Organizer for Afigya Kwabre North Constituency, had the privilege of supporting the District Inter-Schools Football Competition through a donation exercise held on Thursday February 12, 2026 and ended on Friday 13th February, 2026.

The donation exercise benefited two educational circuits Boamang Circuit and Tetrem Circuit. Each circuit received 60 medals, bringing the total number of medals donated to 120, alongside 2 football trophies to be awarded to outstanding teams and over 60 certificates for best-performing participants in the competition. Footballs were also presented to support sporting activities at the basic school level.

Speaking on the motivation behind the initiative, Mr. Sekyere emphasized the importance of sports in nurturing discipline, teamwork, leadership, and talent among young people. He noted that investing in school sports is an investment in the future of the constituency and the nation at large.

The donation was warmly received by school authorities, sports coordinators, and students, who expressed appreciation for the timely support and encouragement extended to young athletes.

Mr. Sekyere reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment, community engagement, and initiatives that complement efforts to strengthen education and sports development within Afigya Kwabre North District . He described the gesture as part of a broader vision to inspire excellence and promote inclusive development at the grassroots.

He further called on stakeholders, community leaders, and well-meaning individuals to continue supporting youth-focused programs that build confidence and unlock potential among the younger generation.

🚨BOAMANG FIRE OFFICERS DEEPEN RELATIONS WITH TRADITIONAL LEADERS

Newly posted officers of the Boamang Fire Station, led by the District Fire Commander ADO I Daniel Antwi, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Boamang, Oheneba Nana Adu Bradi II, and the Queen Mother, Oheneyere Akua Pokuaa I.

The meeting introduced the personnel to traditional leaders and reaffirmed the Ghana National Fire Service’s commitment to protecting lives and property in the Afigya Kwabre North District.

The Chief welcomed the officers and pledged his support, urging them to serve with dedication, while the Queen Mother offered her blessings and prayers for their success. The visit strengthened ties between the Fire Service and local leadership, paving the way for greater collaboration in fire safety and community development.
