The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has paid a visit to the family of the late Kusaase Chief, offering his condolences on their loss.
Additionally, he visited the second killing crime scene in Sabon Zongo before moving to pay a visit to all major checkpoints in and around Asewase to boost the morale of police personnel, acknowledging their dedication and hard work in maintaining security in the area.
The IGP also thanked the military personnel who are stationed at these checkpoints.
He gave specific instructions on how vigilant the police should be in their search.
These instructions include:
*- Prohibiting motorbikes on roads after 7:00 p.m. until further notice.

*- Strictly prohibiting the use of unlicensed motorbikes or motorbikes without lights.

*- Suspending the ongoing inter-tribal football competition with immediate effect.

*- Prohibiting motorbike riders from wearing smocks until further notice, as they have become an avenue for suspects to conceal weapons.
