The Virtue of Reciting Surah al-Mulk Every Night

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Indeed, a surah from the Qur’an consisting of thirty verses interceded for a man until he was forgiven, and it is: تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ [i.e. Surah al-Mulk].”

📔[Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah. And al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan (good) hadith, and it was authenticated by al-Albani]

On the authority of Abdullah ibn Masʿud, he said:

“Whoever recites تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ [i.e. Surah al-Mulk] every night, Allah will protect him by it from the punishment of the grave. And during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, we used to call it al-Maniʿah (the Preventer). And indeed, it is in the Book of Allah: a surah — whoever recites it every night, then he has done much and done well.”

Some Christians say that the Qur’an supposedly came from Satan. If their claim were true, then Jesus Christ would be a companion of Satan, because the Qur’an praises Jesus and honors him.
