Leadership is About Impact, Not Age – MCE Advises Youth
Leadership is not defined by age, title, or position, but by responsibility, character, and the ability to inspire positive change. This was the key message delivered by the Municipal Chief Executive for Asokore Mampong, Hon. Abdulai Alhasan.
He gave the advice at the Ignite Kumasi Youth Empowerment Summit, where he addressed young people on the true meaning of leadership and their role in shaping the future.
Hon. Abdulai Alhasan urged the youth to move beyond the mindset of waiting for positions before making an impact, emphasizing that leadership begins with taking responsibility in their everyday lives.
He further encouraged them to develop strong character, remain disciplined, and commit to making positive contributions in their communities.
The MCE noted that Ghana’s future depends largely on the ability of its young people to rise as responsible leaders who are ready to inspire change and drive development.
The Ignite Kumasi Youth Empowerment Summit brought together young individuals from various backgrounds to share ideas, build capacity, and prepare for leadership roles in a rapidly evolving world.
