INTRODUCING NANA AKYAAMAA III TO OTUMFUO OSEI TUTU II ASANTEHENE.
On August 4, 2026, Nana Akyaamaa III was formally introduced to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, and Nana Yaa Akyaa II, the Asantehemaa, as Oheneni, the traditional mother of the Asantehene, at the Manhyia Palace. This introduction was conducted by a delegation led by Oheneyere Akosua Serwaa Oheneafrewo, Ayigyahemaa, who also holds the position of Hiahene. Other members of the delegation included Nana Gyamfi Kumanin II, Pampasohene; Nana Wadie Assim, Wadie Adwumakasehene; Nana Ahenkro Sei Poku IV, Ahenkrohene; and Nana Kwatemaa Nyiano Ababio, Wadie Adwumakasehemaa.
